Close to the marina and dog friendly

Staff was very friendly and inviting. They made sure we had everything needed. Room was large and clean. I will advise that if you are staying with your wife get the double twins as the Single Queen is small and uncomfortable if the two of you are staying on it. Shower was very small but for the price, i'd stay there any day.

I went to check in the evening that I had booked for and there was no one there to allow me to check in. I was forced to take my 2 daughters to another town and book another hotel room. Plus I still got charged for the Port Lodge. I contact them and no one gets back to me. I just keep getting voice mail.

Very basic. For a non-smoking establishment it smells just like a dirty ashtray. In fact one evening the hallway actually was filled with cigarette smoke. Usually quiet except when the proprietors child decides its time to play football in the hallway. for another 10 bucks I could have stayed at the Super 8, which is the plan from now on.

Minimalist reception, the reception is behind a window and staff is hard to understand. The room was super cold, even with maximum heating on. Minimum comfort only.

Was only there for one night but overall the room was clean and bed was comfy

Poor service but the beds were comfortable property not appealing
