Inn at Crestwood

We were at the Inn for a wedding and it was delightful. The drive from Blowing Rock at night was a bit tense because of the winding road but once we arrived we saw why people make the trip. Our king room had recently been renovated and had a view of the mountains and a small patio to enjoy (had the weather been warmer). The bed was comfy and the shower felt so good. The housekeeping staff was quick to respond to our requests. Be prepared for stairs to get to the lobby, restaurant or outside. Our dinner at the Table was great. The wait staff really took care of us and the food was superior. Ralph, our waiter, was super friendly and made us feel welcome that night and when we saw him other days. There were a few things we would have liked to have known: - Cell service is spotty. There are no phones in the rooms. I tried to call the front desk several times from my cell phone and the calls were not completed. - The front desk is not staffed at night so there is no one to call in the case of an emergency or issue. There is a number to call for security but we were only told that after the fact. There are keypad locks on the outside doors but we were never given the codes. - There is no breakfast service, however, one day I saw a small table with coffee, oatmeal packets, breakfast bars, bread and a bowl of oranges. No one mentioned this. - This is an older building so sound travels from floor to floor and room to room. We heard every footfall from upstairs and overhead many conversations and arguments and dog barks from our next door neighbors. The Inn can't control this but it's something to be aware of. The wedding was outside on the Terrace and was lovely. Appetizers and dinner were great and again, the wait staff was outstanding. The Inn knows how to handle a large party and I would highly recommend it. It's so nice to be able to stay where the event is happening. I wouldn't want to drive that road after a few drinks.

The room and the view were quite nice. The staff were outstanding.

Due the recent hurricane the pool and the other amenities, including the spa, sauna, were not available which was unfortunate. Disappointingly, the fireplace in our room did not work, which was a bummer.

Just the perfect getaway. The staff was exceptional. Our dinner at the restaurant was delicious and service was above expectations. The only reason I gave the grounds a 4 was it was only 5 weeks after the hurricane and they were doing some remodeling but I lay no blame on the resort. The road to the resort was under repair but they are doing a great job of cleaning up and getting back to business. I highly recommend.

I liked having an extra living room. The building and amenities were very nice. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Housekeeping provided us with clean linens during the week. It was very quiet and peaceful - just what we needed to get a good vacation Thank you for a lovely time.

Fireplace in Liv Rm did not work. The staff tried to fix a number of times. It would light for a while, then go out. I wanted to make a cup of coffee in the lobby but could find no coffee maker.

Great stay, with an excellent staff. Quaint hotel, converted from a large house originally, restaurant was open and the food and service were excellent.

Very peaceful. Smaller facility.

Wish they had vending machine or something with more snack options since Restaurant was still closed.

over charged... after booking and paying... more fees were added... and never go Sunday Monday or Tuesday.. worthless those days

The location was amazing, being in the middle of the woods. The bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly, although it felt like they were understaffed in some areas.

The swimming pool was very cold and the spa was overall dirty and not clean. There were no towels and it didn't have a nice spa feeling, sadly. Additionally, the breakfast location was in a very odd place; it was in the reception area instead of the restaurant, which was overlooking beautiful gardens.

The Inn was lovely and receptionist delightful to talk to. Room was large and comfortable. The whole area including Inn is still recovering from Hurricane Helene so grounds bit chewed up. Did see deer in grassy area by outside fireplace.
