Bed & Breakfast Mamma Rosa

Most enjoyable of any recent holiday.

THIS BED & BREAKFAST WAS LIKE HAVING MY OWN PERSONAL HOME , WITH BILLION DOLLAR VIEWS , IN THE HEART OF THE AMALFI COAST. ANGELO AND HIS FAMILY MADE US FEEL LIKE WE WERE PART OF THERE FAMILY. I PICKED THIS B&B BECAUSE OF ALL THE OUTSTANDING REVIEWS IT GOT AND THEY WERE ALL RIGHT. IF YOU DECIDE TO STAY HERE , I PROMISE THAT YOU WILL REMEMBER IT FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. ALSO , EAT DINNER AT ANGELO'S COUSIN'S RESTAURANT, FOR THE BEST MEAL IN THE AREA. ANGELO AND FAMILY , I WILL BE BACK TO VISIT YOU AGAIN SOMEDAY. THANKS FOR ALL THE MEMORIES.

We did a 3 stop trip to Italy. We stayed the first three nights at Mamma's B&B. The Owner, Angelo arranged a car from NAP airport to the B&B. Our driver, Mimi, was older, but real good. The car was a nice Mercedes Sedan. Very classy. He stopped at a roadside pizzeria for pizza and espresso. Payed out of his own pocket. After we ate and drank, we continued our drive to Montepertuso.He stopped at scenic overlooks for us also. A great ride for us through the incredible cliff hugging turns in the road. He said he has driven Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. We believe him. Upon arrival, Angelo and his beautiful sister carried our luggage up the stairs. That was a big help. When we saw our room, it was beautiful. What a view from our balcony. The breakfasts were good, the cappuccino good. Great way to start the days. Our bathroom was majestic. We enjoyed their home’s wine too. Mamma cooked dinners for us also. Wonderful pasta and the meatballs were GREAT! Angelo and his family run a very classy establishment. We are recommending it to our family and friends.

We totally enjoyed our stay here... we had a room with an amazing view and the room where we had breakfast was nice as well. Our bathroom was huge and had a bathtub which was nice to come back to. Angelo was a perfect host, he cooked us a very tasty dinner, which I highly recommend to anyone staying here, the vegetables are from his garden and the wine homemade. It was well worth climbing the stairs to stay here, we'd love to come and stay here again in the future...

Wonderful stay with a unique view of beautiful Positano. Great views of sunrises and sunsets, with family readily hauling all luggage up and down the 200 steps. Breakfasts were deliciously homemade. Room was very comfortable.

The bus lets you off right out front and you look up and see it's 200 steps up to the B&B. We were met by the owner "Angelo" and he helped us with our luggage up to our room. Once we got to our room the walk up was rewarded with the most beautiful view of the Mediterranean and Positano from our private balcony. The B&B is a family farm and we watched the walnut harvest in the terraced gardens cut into the steep hillside. The room was clean, comfortable and airy. The breakfast was delicious with homemade apricot preserves and hot croissants. The family was very welcoming and helpful with ideas for restaurants and hikes. The best two restaurants we ate at during our 3 week trip to Italy were within walking distance. Angelo makes his own wine and you can drink this on the balcony as you watch the boats coming and going below. It is close the one of the most beautiful hikes I've ever done "Walk of the Gods" This is a great value and the 5 star rating is well deserved.

When I booked this B&B I didn't realise I'll have to take the bus to get there. Firstly I was put off by that but when we've seen mamma Rosa completely changed my mind. The bus ride was actually very exciting and a great entertainment ;-). Local people were very friendly and very helpful. Restaurant near by the B&B called Ritrovo treated us like royalties. Montepertuso is one beautiful place and I will always recommend Mamma Rosa and wanna say "thank you for everything Angelo"

The visit was our honeymoon and from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, Angelo was attentive throughout. Our room was fantastic with a great view. The service throughout as well as recommendations were spot on

We had an amazing time at Mama Rosa! This was the cutest and coziest B&B we stayed in.We had delicious fresh breakfast every morning on our private balcony, with stunning views!

Beautiful room with all the amenities needed, room balcony with an amazing view. Delicious breakfeast! Perfect home away from home with the owners going out of their way to make you feel welcome. Cannot fault the place. Near by bus stop takes you in and out of town, nice to be away from the chaos of too many tourists.
