Sa Cabana Hotel Rural & Spa - Adults Only

Enthusiastic and guest friendly staff throughout. Absolute professionalism in waiter staff and all with a positive and amiable attitude. If I could award 5 stars-I would. The gardens were simply 'immaculate'.

The setting for this hotel is wonderful - surrounded by mountains, vineyards and olive groves. The hotel's shared spaces and rooms are attractive and well executed. However service, especially during the day, was unforgivably slow (1 hour for a ham and cheese sandwich to appear at lunch and 30 minutes for two soft drinks on average). Dinner menu is pretty unimaginative and suffered the same fate as lunch menu with many items mysteriously unavailable.

Small, very professional run hotel. Surrounded by beautiful rural countryside with a back drop of a striking mountain range. Nothing was too much trouble for the very friendly and polite staff, they made us feel very welcome. Bed was very comfortable in a large room with the quitess air contitioning possible, if you want a quite, relaxing, well positioned hotel for visiting variuos places on the island, you will not be disappointed by choosing this one.

2 day stay with my girlfriend at the end of a villa holiday. Had a junior suite/ suite, was amazing. Huge bath tub in the middle of the room, super king bed, finished to a really high standard. Hotel staff were fantastic and friendly. Pool is nice and relaxing, you have a little button to call a waiter and they'll bring you drinks, a great touch.Prices were really reasonable (Londoner). Maybe 20 rooms or so, so has a intimate feeling. Free, strong WIFI throughout (including the pool), daily English newspapers. Would definitely like to return!

Away from the hustle and bustle of beach life. Quiet with a capital "Q". Easy going with well -appointed accommodation. Staff helpful but not obtrusive.Good buffet breakfast range both in quality and presentation. Variety of room sizes available....ours was top floor and vast...huge bed...open plan design with modern fixtures. Bar snacks available and perhaps a slightly limited evening menu......the food was excellent over three days, the dinner being very much nouveau cuisine in style and content, and a million miles from pizza/burger land of the coastal beach resort areas. Nice wine selections, in fact you can see the wine cellar from the restaurant area which has a glass floor. In a nutshell I can say that I arrived needing a decent holiday break after the stresses and strains of modern work life.....and my wife and I left feeling refreshed and re-energised. Besides the advantages of the site itself, the location is ideally placed as a touring base.... you will almost certainly need a car to get there anyway.

The Sa Cabana Hotel Rural & Spa is absolutely lovely. The buildings and grounds are stunning. If you are looking for a very quiet relaxing break with a bit of luxury we thoroughly recommend it. All the staff we encountered where really nice, friendly and helpful and everything about the hotel was of a high standard. There was a slight lack of atmosphere generally, which was especially noticeable in the evenings (and the other guests seemed to be pretty solemn and unfriendly when we were there too). The little village of Consell is a 10 minute walk away, albeit along a main road with no pavement, where you will find a couple of quiet restaurants and bars if you wanted to venture out locally in the evenings on foot. Also a short drive away is Santa Maria which was nice with a few more restaurants to choose from. We stayed for 5 nights and had a hire car so we ventured out and explored the Island and beaches most days and had a wonderful holiday. We will definitely be back but for a shorter stay. A weekend of peace after a hectic week at work would be perfect.

A really stylish hotel in a great location for exploring this beautiful island. Highly recommended for couples.

A lovely family-owed and operated hotel, full of character and understated elegance. Friendly staff and great service. As an adults-only venue, it is ideal for a romantic break with a small but well-equipped gym/spa area. While the location seemed rather isolated, there are good public transport connections and Binissalem, a 20 minute walk from the hotel, is an interesting small town with plenty of local colour.

Very stylish and sophisticated...a most relaxing atmosphere. My mom and I were two of 10 guests. The breakfast was so tasty and elegant. I didn't want to leave. Just bring snacks with you though as there is no gift shop or place to buy nibbles in the hotel.

Lovely hotel but really in the middle of nowhere. Beautiful building, beautiful pool. Somehow something was missing. I think perhaps it is so new that it has not had time to settle in. Carlos, barman. waiter and just about everything else was super as was Tony and our lovely maid. Nothing was too much trouble. When I stayed it was very very quite on one day my daughter and I were the only two round the pool all day. Negatives... no hotel information in the rooms. There was a really nasty pong from the toilet and hard as I tried I could not get the water to run cold out of either of the taps. If you are looking for somewhere beautiful to relax Sa Cabana is the place.
