Residence Inn Bismarck North

Zero degrees outside and 51 degrees in our room at check-in. We were so tired and shivered as we drifted off. We woke up tired and exhausted from our 1/2 size pillows and drafts from the windows. A previous visit five years ago had left us with such a good impression. Although the staff is friendly, and honest (more about that in a minute), nothing can erase how tired we felt after our stay and how tired the rooms look. Although the cleanliness is adequate (one may want to pack Lysol wipes for stray hairs and such), the stains, ruined blinds and furniture tell me that this is a manager and owner who have completely thrown in the towel. Please see photos of the desk chair, dining chairs, sofa, and blinds. Too many stains on the carpet to photograph. When I mentioned all of this to the front desk, I was told, “It would not make a difference to change rooms as they are all like yours.” - love that honesty. Housekeeping said something very similar. Bring your own pillows and slippers. The towels and linens are the only amenities this hotel does right.

The room had stains on the curtains, the furniture was worn, and the sleeper sofa was not comfy at all. I've stayed at older residence Inn that are much cleaner.

My favorite hotel to stay at in Bismarck because of the cleanliness, comfort and super friendly staff. The breakfast was not that great.

The front desk staff was very friendly and even helped carry our bags to our room. The cleaning crew was also very friendly and helpful. I was impressed that the front desk staff was nicely dressed. We will definitely be staying there again.

I was in Bismarck for work. I had reservations at an AirBnB but that fell through at the very last minute. After arriving at the Bismarck airport (at 9pm), I was forced to find a hotel. The Residence Inn had a room available. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Amber. She made an awfully stressful situation much better. She assured me she would take care of me. I wanted to stay the entire week; however, they didn't have any rooms available on Tuesday evening. I moved to a different hotel and decided to come back to the Residence Inn on Wednesday, based on the staff at the front desk. I had to depart my AirBnB on Wednesday morning by 10am. I was going to hang out in the lobby of the Residence Inn until my room was ready. Jacob (front desk manager) ensured my room was ready by 10am and I was able to work from my room the remainder of the day. The level of professionalism, compassion, friendliness, and overall concern for their customers is above average. Everyone I encountered was amazing. I'm glad my AirBnB was canceled so I could experience the level of service this hotel offers. Thank you, to all the staff, at the Residence Inn, for what you do. You make a difference, whether you realize it or not. You are appreciated and I will stay here if I'm every in Bismarck again. If I could give 10 stars, I would!!!

Clean, spacious and a great location! Good breakfast!

Lovely room and accommodations. The hot tub needed to be hotter is our only complaint. Barely above warm bath temp.

It was cozy & felt like home. Staff was extra pleasant & signed me up for rewards. I’ll stay again for sure

I have stayed at this hotel in the past (several times). It always provides a positive experience. It has a great atmosphere when arriving. The rooms are clean and tidy. The front desk staff are super efficient and helpful. There front desk cookies are amazing.
