Oakwood Hotel & Apartments Taman Mini Jakarta

While the property itself was pleasant, I encountered several miscommunications during my stay. I initially booked a standard room for two nights via an app. After the first night, I approached the front office to inquire about upgrading to a bigger room for the second night, as I had additional family members joining. The front desk staff—a lady—was very helpful and explained the new room options, pricing, and how I could avail of a 10% member discount. She also mentioned that we could include an extra bed and breakfast, and provided the adjusted price accordingly. I contacted my family to confirm, and although we couldn’t decide immediately, she reassured us that they could make a booking for us. The next morning, I went back to confirm the booking, but was assisted by a different staff member (a gentleman). To my surprise, he informed me that we weren’t eligible for the discount because this was considered an upgrade rather than a new booking. This was unexpected, as the discount was a key factor in our decision. After some discussion, he agreed to apply the 10% discount to the room but stated that the extra bed and breakfast would be charged at full price. Unfortunately, the issues didn’t end there. When my family and I went down for breakfast the following morning, we discovered that our upgraded room was booked as “room only” without breakfast. This was shocking, as our discussion with the first staff member explicitly included breakfast in the quoted price. While the extra bed included breakfast, it was odd that no one clarified that the room itself did not. This series of miscommunications left me disappointed, as the lack of clear and consistent information caused unnecessary stress. While I appreciate the initial efforts to accommodate my request, I would have expected better coordination among staff and greater attention to detail in handling such arrangements. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves their internal comms.

The location is near restaurants, so it's very convenient when you want to eat.

Old. Room is old, bathroom is small n has no detachable shower head, the bathroom stinks, and you can hear people talking from the other bedroom and outside of the bedroom. And in the morning around 7.30 someone knocked on our door waking us up just to asked about if I want to do a laundry! No! You don't wake a guest up just to ask for a laundry!

Location was next to TMII entrance, which is why we chose this hotel. Room was quite large and we got upgraded to a room w/balcony. Parking was ample and hotel was near to shops and restaurants

A lot. 1. Room, esp. bathroom was filthy. It wasn't cleaned properly. 2. When we tried to complain via the in-room phone, it was BROKEN. I had to carry the phone to the lobby just to make a point. Its not a matter of convenience anymore, but its a security risk I have unfortunately place my family into. I was extremely offended by the low standards of maintenance of such a "newly-renovated" hotel 3. Pool was ok, but the area surrounding the pool needs maintenance 4. The gym has only VERY minimal equipment 5. We didn't opt in for breakfast, but when we almost decided to, the breakfast spread was not worth the price (IDR 150k) 6. There was NO fridge in the room, I thought being upgraded to a larger room with balcony, there should be a mini-fridge/similar, but how I was so wrong For point number 1 and 2, staff was very apologetic and offer quick action to fix this. But that's just it. Not that I was expecting anything, but they left it as a "business as usual" matter. Honestly, was not expecting these type of product and services for a "4 star" hotel with similar or even less price compared to Oakwood TMII. Hope that they can improve.

I like the new design of the room. I stayed in the hotel when they were under different brand. Now the room design is more modern and love the IP TV can stream Netflix and Disney+. The location is good, near TMII and have a lot of food options.

The room little bit noisy. I can hear the noise from the hall and some vibration like people open the door. Other than that, no issue.

love,love,love the bed and the room...the location is superb. The restaurants and all the mini shopping complex is in the same hotel compound and you can just walk. The Grab food service also good. You can simply order the food thru phone and deliver to your hotel lobby. Will definitely come again soon.
