"Staff will not tell but if at the back you will be woken by collection of glass bottles for recycling between 2am & 7am"

On arrival we asked for a quiet room and we were given room 101 at the back of the hotel. At 2am we were woken up by what seemed to be an earthquake. It was a recycling van dumping glass bottles from several restaurants. The containers were under our window, which is something the receptionist did not inform us about. Hotel staff knew that such early morning collections happens two or three times a week, yet they did not bother to offer us another room. We would have been happy to pay more if needed but we were not even given such an option. It was dishonest and unethical. So if you book into Hotel Corona in Tirano be prepared to be woken up at any time from 2am.

Frukosten var okej men inte mer. Låg nära tågstationen.

Vi fick stå och vänta 25 minuter på incheckning trots att vi avtalat tid för ankomst och vi kom under tid då receptionen skulle vara öppen. Fanns ingen personal någonstans. Ringde till sist det " nödnummer" som egentligen gällde nattetid. Då kom till sist en receptionist som inte ens bad om ursäkt. Mycket lyhört rum och städpersonalen börjar dammsuga i korridorer kl 07.

"Bra hotell i en mysig liten stad."

Bra sängar med påslakan vilket vi uppskattar. Små rum men rent och snyggt. Enkel frukost. Bra läge nära centralen. Tyvärr varmt i rummet utan aircondition. Den ville de inte sätta på ännu, i mitten av maj. Ligger efter huvudgatan med mycket trafik men det centrala läget överväger.
