Lansdowne Kenmare

We couldn’t have had a nicer stay, thank you. The hotel was really lovely and all of the staff were so friendly and helpful. We had a lovely meal and evening in your restaurant - including some fantastic drinks! And we had a superb full Irish for breakfast on our second morning. Kenmare and the surrounding areas are stunning - it’s a beautiful part of the world and we would love to come back one day. Thanks again and best regards.

Great place to stay! The bar was really nice and staffed by a professional! The parking can be a little tricky!

Personnel très accueillant, restaurant très agréable et très arrangeant pour les troubles alimentaires. Hotel très agréable, très propre, calme. Thé et café à disposition. Parking disponible. Centre ville. .

Le lit parapluie manquait lors de notre arrivée mais il a été apporté par la suite. Pas de draps pour bébé.

Location excellent. Very clean Food very good and gluten free options available.

Room very small. No clothes iron in room. No fridge in room. All noise carries. Guests in room above us were walking around until 4am. Every footstep could be heard - not conducive to sleeping well. Breakfast (continental), if included in booking, only includes granola/yogurt, bread & croissants. Any additional order e.g. eggs, fruit, cheese incurs an additional charge. This was not made clear on check in or at breakfast (only realised it when we were handed a bill on checkout). Breakfast service slow (took nearly 15mins to get a coffee after asking 3 times)

Our bartender Gary was really great. Beautiful smile and quick with a laugh.

My particular room did not have a ceiling fan, which I missed. It was a little warm at night.

It was a lovely hotel

Room was small. Only window had stairs outside. I felt a little uncomfortable as I had to keep it open for airflow. Anyone could come in… only a continental breakfast considering what I paid.

Location. Staff were delightful.

Our room was in ground floor/ lower floor and had a newly installed ceiling far.Despite this it was borderline too hot unfortunately.It was not especially hot outside (15-19 degrees) but the room temperature was uncomfortable and hotter inside than out.Difficult to sleep.

We recently got married in Kenmare, and had the Lansdowne as our base for the bridal party (about 15 of us). The staff were incredible - couldn’t do enough for us on the morning of the wedding, accommodating suppliers like photographers etc and also gifting us with flowers, complimentary Prosecco and when we arrived back from our wedding venue at 3am - Tayto sandwiches! Such lovely touches. In the run up, the general manager Bakarne was fabulous and the team over the weekend were amazing. The hotel in general is so beautiful with lovely spacious rooms.
