Plas Nanteos Mansion

Lovely spacious room, good breakfast and staff were very friendly and helpful.

Location was excellent and disabled room far surpassed expectations.

When we arrived we were informed that we could not eat at the hotel as the restaurant was fully booked. This was very disappointing and inconvenient. Breakfast was a shambles. Tea and coffee is rationed to one cup with the size of the pots. Toast is offered and one slice per person arrives before breakfast but none is offered or provided with the breakfast. For myself this meant I needed to wait for toast before I could eat breakfast. We were not the only guests to suffer this inefficiency. I also had to leave the room to go to reception to get service as after waiting by the staff only door it did not appear that breakfast staff were returning to check on their diners. Appalling service.

This was our third time staying at Plas Nanteos mansion, and we can’t wait to visit again, especially now we are going to be married there 😃🥂. We stayed in the spacious Nightingale suite, and was served superb dishes of food for dinner and breakfast in the Powell drawing room. If like me, you like your chunky chip-you will be in heaven 😵 To our surprise, to celebrate our engagement, we was treated to a complimentary glasses of Prosecco. The mansion staff had also arranged for me, a bouquet of yellow roses to be delivered to our room for my fiancé from the local florist. We were delighted that the mansion staff could accommodate and set aside, at such short notice, the time for guided tour of the venue and to discuss our requirements for our wedding plans for next summer. Thanking Plas Nanteos staff in advance. We are sure, it will be a very, very special day.

The location is amazing. The staff are just fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Alex was fantastic and a great example of a manager, his attention to detail and ensuring the whole team followed his standard to make sure exceptional customer service and care was given. Room was great size and clean. Food was beautiful both breakfast and evening meal. Can’t wait to book our next visit there.
