"Gorgeous mansion with modern amenities and TOP notch service!"

Julie greeted us at check in and was there every step of the way during our stay; providing help, advice and a friendly face. She is an absolute gem! Our room was beautiful and plenty of space for two. It mixes the original charm with modern amenities. Breakfast was delicious and I had eggs benedict both days. Mia was our server at breakfast and the optional afternoon tea we added and she went above and beyond. She is the GOLD standard of service and friendliness. The mansion itself is a sight to behold and so many interesting nooks to peek into and see the history. I hope we can return again.

I run fairly hot and our room was on the top floor. The windows did open and a fan was provided, so it was tolerable. If we are able to come back I would book a room on the lower floor(s). That is my only complaint!

I thought the dinner menu was appealing and interesting and would like to have tried more of the food. My meal was excellent and I very much enjoyed the dining experience.

The plates were warm rather than hot at both breakfast and dinner, but the food on them was superb.

Really nice full Welsh breakfast. Service was quick and staff very polite. The room was very nice and spotlessly clean. The mansion itself is beautiful and a real historic gem.

Only the access road to the property which was single track with a few potholes. Got caught by traffic coming in the other direction a couple of times., leading to a couple of 'breathe in' moments. A few more passing places may be helpful .

The service and rooms were great. Really spacious. Breakfast was good. Everything shut at 10 but the staff accommodated by serving us beers before they finished and a takeaway away breakfast in the morning when we left early

That they shut down so early.
