Hotel Ionian Theoxenia

The hotel is in nice location, very near the beach quite and pleasant. The room is spacious, clean with free WI-FI. In nearby fish restaurants you can have very fresh and tasty fish.

We spent 1-week family vacation at the The Ionian Theoxenia Hotel. During our stay the hotel was very quiet and atmosphere was relaxed - the private hotel pool gets an extra mention. It was low-season (early June) and it felt like staying in a very private and exclusive resort in that sense. We enjoyed great service by the staff, who all very helpful and friendly.The breakfast was recommended by earlier reviews, but we were a little disappointed for the lack of more fresh fruits and stronger coffee!! The location of the hotel is quite far from sites and nice popular beaches, so rental car is a must to get around, but the main highway is just a minute drive from the hotel. A great place to relax and spend a little time in your own peace, away from the tourist-filled areas like Parga. Greatly Recommed for families!

Lovely hotel close to the beach. Exceptionally friendly stuff and perfect condition of object and rooms. Clean and comfortable. Great pool. Perfect location for quite vacation and for exploring surrounding areas (Lefkada is short drive away).

Booked 5/20-5/23. Wow! New-Beautiful hotel, clean and spacious rooms, delicious breakfast. Great staff, friendly and informative. Right across the street from beach, walking distance to good restaurants. Easy drive to Parga or other historical points of interest. I would book again definitely if opportunity presented itself.

We were there for three days and we loved every minute of it. We booked the Economy Double room, but there is nothing economy about it!!! The room is on the ground floor,and the lack of a terrace is being compensated with a table and two chairs placed in front of each room. This setting overlooks the back of the hotel and it is calm and peaceful in the evening. The staff is excellent, always there when you need them. The bar is open until midnight and the prices are quite reasonable, same as the city. And last, but certainly not least, the breakfast!!! Something for everyone, and everything tasty.Replenished during the breakfast hours, and I would suggest that you don't miss out on the cream pies and the Greek yogurt (of course).

A little out of the way, great hotel with good facilities. Only draw back was no evening dinner and the closes facility was half a mile walk. Nevertheless highly recommended.

My family and I stayed in a Family Room at Hotel Ionian Theoxenia. The room was incredibly spacious, with great decor, and it was very clean. It had two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which was very convenient. The hotel is not directly on the beach, but faces the beach and is within walking distance (just across the road). They also have a lovely pool and bar. There are some cafes and restaurants up the street if you want to stay local, otherwise, you will need to drive to find other stores or bars. In short, our stay was pleasant and we highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing vacation.

Hotel is small, very clean, very comfortable with very nice spacious a/c rooms overlooking the pool and sea. There is no food except for the breakfast which was simple but nice. Pool and pool area incl bar was very nice.The area was very quiet and secluded with an empty pebble beach (2 mins walk). If you want a quiet nice space then this is a perfect place. I didnt try gym or sauna.
