"Distinctly average "

This is a pub with rooms. The beds were comfy, the were clean, but it’s a tired little place. This accommodation is fine for what we needed, as we were on a golf trip, but it is more suited to working contractors. Cob webs in corners of rooms, old sticky carpets but basic and simple. Not a place for a romantic get away. Staff friendly and helpful.

"Would not stay here"

The room smelt of mold and when I woke up in the morning I had a headache. The towels smelt, made me gag. Didn't stay for the complimentary breakfast. Just wanted to get out of there.

"Decent place for the price"

The room was fine and had a recently renovated bathroom. There was noise from the pub below, as to be expected, but for the price, all up it was decent. Free parking was off-street, behind the pub.
