"Fine for one night."

Unable to have cooked breakfast owing to medical problem with host, but made every effort to provide ample continental replacement, could have done with cool bag for orange juice and yoghurt.

As both older ladies, would have liked to park a little closer to room - there was space.

"A little disappointing"

Lovely location

Poor lighting in the car park and no indication of where to knock The heating went of the first night and it was freezing, the duvet was a light weight one , the fan heater that was provided made a grating sound until I got used to it The night before my stay I had a call asking where I was and I explained that I was booked for the following two days. After I booked in the owner knocked on my door saying that she had left her mobile phone in my room this was after a 17 hour day. It turned out that she had left it on her sofa

"Great overnight accommodation"

Comfortable, clean, warm and quiet. Excellent overnight stay travelling from Surrey to the Highlands. Very convenient being close to M74, but no road noise (or any noise) to disturb sleep.

I called ahead to say I’d be arriving late which was no trouble at all and Amanda gave me a warm welcome, which is what I needed after a 7 hour drive! Room was warm and cosy. Perfect and will use again

"Cosy little stopover."

Cosy little stop over, warm, comfortable and convenient. Would stay again.

The step down to the Bathroom, I did stumble down it once during the night but, not sure anything could be done.

"Exactly what was needed after a long drive. Very clean, warm and peaceful."

The location was great, peaceful, quiet and surrounded by nature. I was warmly greeted by the owner and taken to the room. Everything was explained clearly, and told not to hesitate to call if I needed help with anything more.

Everything was good; my only complaint was that the shower wasn't as hot as I would have liked it to be. Not a big drama, and not enough to give a bad review.
