Wayside

Absolutely beautiful! Very friendly and accommodating... Moira even gave me a bottle of Chardonnay to see the new year in. I was able to take my dog with me 🐕😀 The bed was sumptuous and view gorgeous. Breakfast was spot on. I would happily recommended this fabulous B&B, and look forward to visiting again!

We had stayed before in the new part of the B&B but this had been turned into a Holiday Let, we were staying in a little room round the back part of the B&B which was clean and comfortable, bed was a little small for 6'2" husband which was a bit of a problem, and breakfast was already in the room, but was a little limited to one Croissant each with Cheese and Ham, and some wholemeal bread and cereal. Could have done with another Croissant! Shower was lovely and powerful but wasn't high enough for my husband. The bathroom was a little tired as the towel rail/radiator was rusting. The room door to the private court yard (which would be lovely on a summers morning) could've done with a blind to keep the morning light out. TV was also too small for the room and struggled to see it from the bed. Overall a pleasant stay but a little disappointing compared to our last stay.

Great country location with rooms that are comfortable and dog friendly. Will return!

Very comfortable out in the Country yet with easy drive into nearby Norwich, good parking, warm and friendly. Excellent Pub Restaurant just across the road - Brick Kiln serving English food at reasonable prices, well worth visiting. If you prefer staying in busy City Center Wayside is not recommended!! Our third visit to Wayside is already booked.

Pleasant stay. Unfortunately no one on site to greet us. Continental breakfast in room and Fridge when we arrived. Topped up daily. Due to staff family problems room cleaning was not up to expected standard.

Business travel,<<<<. Fantastic location for a stop over and Moira who owns the house certainly knows how to look after her guests. Good internet comfy bed cracking continental breakfast with fresh coffee, clean and tidy and ample parking...

I had a good time staying the week here with Moira (host) being a pleasure. The facilities were great and its a short ride to city centre with the bus stop just a short hop away. Useful caveat: If you intend to arrive on Sunday, take a taxi and/or drive yourself as the bus schedule isn't that great on Sundays except you don't mind walking a bit

It was a return visit. Moira was very hospitable and we have no complaints.
