Wayside

Stayed here for 3 nights and had a thoroughly pleasant stay. My room was comfortable although a little chilly due to the gaps around the window, but nonetheless a lovely room. Shower room was a bit small but clean. Breakfast was continental and was very nice, plenty of choice, overall, enjoyed my stay and shall return in the future.

Wayside is about 15-20 minutes drive outside Norwich, which makes it handy if you have dealings there but without the traffic problems or central city prices. I stayed a week and found the owner friendly and considerate. My room was comfortable and quiet. The continental breakfast was provided right outside the bedroom door.

The hotel is 10 stars I love it,I fell if I'm on my best friends house,very very friendly,like family. This is the place,to go. Now I have 2 more friends in wayside hotel.Moira and Peter. This is the place I want to stay if I go back to norwich.

Everything was clean and tidy in a quaint setting. Nice breakfast and just a short walk to a very pleasant pub.

Not easy to find in the dark but peaceful setting. Good standard accommodation & relaxing stay - would happily return.

We really could not fault the Wayside. A very memorable stay. Our hosts Peter and Moira were so welcoming and helpful. We were only in the area for one day and everything they suggested we could do was perfect. The room was very warm and comfortable and beautifully appointed and breakfast all laid out just outside the door so we could help ourselves when we felt like it was great. Having the pub across the road for dinner was a real bonus. Terrific food and a very extensive menu catering for vegetarians and vegans. We were from NZ where its warm right now, travelling around in winter time enduring the cold but this stay was like a summer day! Very relaxing

I booked in so last minute and late at night for the same night due to business requirements and the owners were brilliant. So happy to accommodate. Lovely building and my room had a wonderful view. Clean, spacious and felt just like home! The owners were wonderful, so friendly.
