The staff were so great! Jody was fantastic, so helpful and friendly, nothing was a problem. The attention to detail in the room was really great - bathroom and kitchen bits and pieces were all there and just what we needed.

The fire alarm going off in the evening and then again after midnight ..

Great place to stay, very clean and will definitely be stay here again.

This an Awesome place to stay. Had a booking for 10, Booked 3 rooms But unfortunately had 6 cancel at last minute. So we had a room each with my moko staying with me💞 Didn't try the restaurant but did go to the bar for pre drinks before our event Awsome bar and people. Will definitely book Totara Lodge again💞🥰 I didn't take any photos But what you see on there website is definitely what you get💞🥰

There was nothing to dislike💞🥰

The location was fabulous as we were there to visit our son and grandchildren who live in Upper Hutt. And to attend the Warriors’ game at HNRY Stadium in Wellington, which was easily accessible by train (directly across the road from the motel and went to Wellington Central which is an easy walk up to the concourse to the stadium). Lots of restaurants and bakeries within five to ten minutes drive. The Tote Bar and Restaurant is right next door to the motel. The restaurant is separate from the bar, so we had a lovely meal without the usual noise from a bar. There was no issue with noise from the trains or the Bar in the accommodation.
