We had a good time and enjoyed the space and location of the aparthotel. It was not a hotel but it was more than an apartment with cleaning and towel changes. The hotel is walking distance to restaurants, bars and supermarkets
The Place has seen better days. The Jacuzzi was an old one, we did not have Sun Shade, although we did ask management to supply one as all the other rooms had one. It never came. The Swimming pool was very good and the children loved it. With the amount of shell shops vacant they could install some children friendly activities. Ropes, or trampolines etc. The Terrace and Roof were very good. I would highly recommend the place to anyone.
Staff were quite cold on both receptions. Did not make us feel welcome or supply us with any information about the area. Disapointed there was no bar or restaurant. Otherwise enjoyed it.
This is a very strange place. I remember it in its heyday, when I used it as one of the very best and most prestigious places to stay in Marbella. Now the hotel has basically gone. Thee are a few floors of apartments based on the old hotel rooms. These are fine - large, comfortable and quiet. There are no facilities, though, apart from the fine pool (which I didn't use on this occasion). The array of restaurants that used to grace downstairs have all closed. All of the outlets that once graced the front of the building have shut and present a rather derelict and charmless impression through the windows. There is no bar. Reception for the apartments is on the first floor and is very basic. They don't let the rooms until 3.00 p.m. (which can be rather annoying and inconvenient). Having said this, if all you need is a decent room and nothing else (Marbella is full of excellent bars and restaurants) you can do a lot worse for the money.
