Very friendly staff, made me feel like home

Great staff, great accomadations, great location!

Das Zimmer war groß und hatte alles was man braucht. Es gab einen Kühlschrank zur gemeinsamen Nutzung. Vor dem Eingang einen Getränkeautomaten. Die Bushaltestelle ist ein Knotenpunkt für mehrer Buslinien. Der Host war sehr nett und stand einem für alle Fragen zur Seite. Das Außenbad ist nur zu empfehlen!

L'accueil parfait par une hôte de qualité, la chambre très agréable, calme, un Ryokan typique, un bel espace de vie. Deux Onsen (intérieur et extérieur) privatifs et très agréables. un petit déjeuner bien mesuré. A 2 pas des arrêts de Bus pour visiter Hakone, le Lac Ashi, l'expérience avec les téléphérique, les musées et rejoindre plus tard les lacs plus près du Mont Fuji (Kawaguchi en particulier et finalement suffisant)

We used the outside onsen and it was, as my son just stated, 10 out of 10. Book it for later in the night and have an experience of steam coiling around the Autumn breeze... sublime. The staff were great, super helpful with everything and the breakfast was yummy. We got to meet and mingle with some other people in the common-room; always a plus from my point of view. The location was just on the Senkyoro-mase station and walking distance from the Sengokuhara Pampas grass fields.

I think 500 yen per person for the outside onsen (for 20 minutes) was a bit pricey but I also kind of understand the reason for it. 20 minutes is enough, would've liked it to be 30 though :). Breakfast maybe could've had a bit more variety but again, those are small complaints in the grand scheme of a great guesthouse.
