Fuji-Hakone Guest House

En pleine nature, maison traditionnelle, accueil chaleureux, onsen très agréables, tout était parfait !

Fuji-Hakone truly felt like 'home' away from home. The family operating the Ryokan was very welcoming, and although at first, we found it daunting to get the bus from Odawara to get to their guesthouse, once we arrived, they immediately made us feel at home. Moreover, they gave us excellent information to move around, find dinner and hiking opportunities in the area. The guesthouse itself was lovely, and the private Onsens were all excellent (Moreover, tattoos were welcome in them!). Finally, they were very accommodating in all of our additional requests.

Exceptional service

Atmosphère familiale et accueillante. Endroit extrêmement calme. Tous les équipements -onsen extérieur et onsen intérieur en particulier- sont conformes aux descriptions et faciles à utiliser. Les patrons peuvent réserver un restaurant pour dîner avec une navette assurant l'aller - retour (trois endroits possibles sur une dizaine répertoriés qu'ils peuvent réserver).

Tout était très bien. Le petit-déjeuner nous a semblé un peu cher mais il a l'avantage d'être sur place et de type occidental

Fuji-Hakone Guest House was phenomenal! The onsen, guesthouse staff and rooms were fantastic. Me and my boyfriend were still jetlagged, so this little retreat in Hakone was like an answer to our prayers. Hakone area is beautiful and thanks to Fuji-Hakone Guest House's recommendations, we knew exactly where to go and how to get there. And the staff! We were greeted by amazing hosts, who guided us through everything and made sure we were settled in alright. I cannot thank them enough. Even though I have many large tattoos, the private onsens they have made it possible for me to enjoy this unique to Japan experience. Our entire group stayed at Fuji-Hakone for the second part of our stay in Japan. It was in the perfect location for our group and the accommodations were beyond comfortable for a family traveling together. Our host was helpful and informative, going the extra mile to make us all feel at home. We especially loved the open air hot spring, which was my favorite part of the stay. Each night we found a different spot within walking distance for dinner--and every single one was fantastic. Would visit again!

Hakone ressemble à un Annecy low cost. Possibilité de faire une rando claquée à côté du volcan. Le lac est plutôt sympathique mais il faudra prendre le bus (toutes les 30minutes) Hébergement respectant tous les critères. Cependant je ne serais sûrement pas amener à revenir à Hakone.
