Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh/Cranberry

Bed was comfortable enough for our weekend stay; it's the HVAC that kicks in seemingly every 10-minutes or so that keeps you up :| Stay was just fine, staff was courteous and helpful, dining options galore around the area. No complaints - just okay.

The hotel staff went up and above to accommodate our requests. Although we reserved a handicap accessible room, hotel staff had to change room assignments so that a disabled family member could be placed in handicap accessible room with shower stool. The hotel is in the process of being renovated (furniture was stacked in lobby, floor trim missing in common areas); there were no issues with our room.

We held a room for my brother, we told the front desk that morning that he needed to be near our room. We returned from our family reunion and had my brother officially check-in to the room he had reserved. The room we were told in the morning was not the same room number that he was assigned that evening. He had great difficulty as the room had been working on that day as part of the new remodeling and should never have been available. After he checked in he called the front desk to advise them there were holes in the wall and paint prints on the furniture. He called the front desk and the person rechecked the room and reassigned him another room. (everything worked out ok but it still was stressful for him as he is elderly) Your staff is excellent and very polite, they don't seem to know when the workman are coming or how much or how many areas they are working in. (they are confused as are the customers).

Confusion with workman remodeling and housekeeping. Example: I wanted to let housekeeping know I only needed towels and not bed made and asked a man who was in a room with door open and cleaning buckets and brooms. (assumed he was housekeeping only to find he was a workman). It is creating a very unprofessional image for Hilton Garden Inn's.

Price was good and worry it. Desk staff very nice.

They gave us a handicap room and charged us full price. Said it was the only room they had. Will not stay here ever again. Very unhappy.

Lobby staff was very nice and accommodating.

Bed and pillows weren't that comfortable. My first room thermostat was broken, woke up sweaty. Thankfully, the staff was able to move me to a different room the next day. Water and coffee was not restocked in either room.
