Stayed here for 3 nights recently. It's a family owned business, with a good selection of local real ales. Everyone very friendly, cooked breakfast started each day on the right footing. Dog friendy - and he appreciated his own sausage each morning. Great location for walking - Kinder Scout and Derwent Water a short drive or Buxton, Bakewell or Matlock - perfect break

Excellent welcome and took us to our rooms which had nice and comfortable beds and everything was very clean. Slept well and had an excellent English breakfast with great sausages and bacon. Manager was entertaining and had stories to tell. I strongly recommend this.
