Kinder Lodge

We stayed here as part of a larger group of friends. Although we were just travelling as a couple, we took a "family room" which meant there was a bit more space and an extra bed. Everything was neat and tidy. Parking and access to the room were easy. Breakfasts were generous.

Everything is a bit dated, but that didn't really affect our stay here.

Lovely place with a great host and amazing views. The breakfast was superb and having a place to park our car was a plus. Easy to find and within walking distance of a lovely Italian restaurant too. The room was clean, quiet and my friends and I had a pleasant stay.

Great breakfasts. Anything you wanted. Good location central and close to the village centre. B&B separate from the bar area. You couldn’t hear the bar so quiet, apart from the church clock chiming all night, but soon got used to it!!

Very steep stairs and long corridors up more flights of stairs to get the room. The lock on my room was not to be too clever, as it didn't latch too properly. There wasn't a pull handle, so it was quite difficult to lock when leaving. Mentioned it to the staff, but they didn't seem all that bothered. Once I got the hang of what to do, which involved a slight turn of the key and a pull, it wasn't too bad, but was frightened that I'd break the key! It was a mortice dead lock.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The location was superb. Breakfast was amazing.

The properly was a little tired, there was moulds on the grouts in the bathroom. The carpet had stains. The mattress was too soft for our liking.
