The Plough Inn Wigston

It was local to where we had to be.

The room. It was sparse and in need of refurbishment. The shower was poor once you managed to switch it on.

The parking and access was great

The smell of strong urine in bathroom was unbearable perhaps on same drain as urinals? Local church bells were regularly rung during the night - too noisy for me to sleep well

Clean, good location for what I needed and plenty of parking space.

The 7 letting rooms were a single storey building in the car park. Extremely basic. I was expecting a nice room in the Plough Inn itself. The bedroom and bathroom both had large opening windows with no safety catch. The weather was hot when I stayed so I had to decide whether to have no windows open as I slept or whether to open a window with the risk of anyone getting into my room. (I chose the latter but...). There is no mention of the accommodation being separate to the main building nor is it shown in the photo. As an elderly lady on her own I was not best pleased.
