Monte Solaro

The hotel is located in a wonderful and beautiful area. Sunsets are spectacular. Service is excellent.

Only spent one night, and the only downside was our heat did not work. Overall, hotel had great views, clean large rooms, awesome shower, and breakfast was great! Our wifi in the room was spotty.

We enjoyed it thoroughly. Typical European breakfast. People very pleasant and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and soundproof. Beautiful setting. Our only negative comment would be that you have to be in shape for the steep climb at the end of the day.

Constanza and his family are superb hosts, attending to all of our needs. It was great to be met and have the luggage taken up the steep hill on our arrival - probably would not have managed otherwise!! The setting is sublime, views superb and accommodation first class. The finishing touch was the (very good) pizza on Sauturday night when they had a party - unexpected but lovely.

I recently stayed at the Monte Solaro and it was great! The entire property was immaculate and very comfortable. Costanzo and his staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was nice as well. There is a nice pool With a great patio to relax on and watch the sunset- the view was unbelievable! The property is set high on the mountain but we didn't mind the walk up the hill -took us less than 10 mins. Costanzo is always willing to give you a lift as well. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Everything was perfect about our stay here. It was nice to be above and away from the Capri tourist hubbub, overlooking Anacapri and the coast from the quiet comfort of the Monte Solaro balcony. Anacapri downtown is just a 10-minute walk (albeit a steep one) away. The staff was attentive, helpful, and friendly. I really can't think of anything I would change. Keep in mind this is in Anacapri, and thus a bus ride away from the boat tours and other Capri attractions. But it's a short bus ride that runs regularly and pretty late.

An amazing B&B - beautiful views, fabulous bedroom beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean. The whole family looked after us so well and always with a smile.

Beautiful small B&B at the top of the island (Anacapri), with amazing views right outside the room. Costanzo and his family are so nice and accomodating. There is a swimming pool and a sun deck to chill after long walks around the island. The lifting chairs to Monte Solaro are within walking distance and can buy the tickets at the hotel for a discounted price. Just be aware: the hotel is at the top of a very steep hill, so if you are not planning to rent car or scooter is a tough walk up the hill not suited for everybody. Other than that I highly recommend this hotel, far from the crowds, with beautiful views and very good price compared to other hotels in Capri. Will definitely be back!!!

We loved this place! It feels like you're staying at a home, but with all of the perks of hotel amenities (shampoo, room cleaning, pool towels, etc.) Costanzo was a great concierge (and bartender!) and the views from the property were unbeatable. It was also very, very clean!
