Epavlis Meteora Suites Hotel

Most certainly the best Hotel experience I had in my life. The room was great, spacious, modern and very clean. The service was just amazing: At our arrival the owner welcomed us and carried our luggages. Since the deluxe room was not occupied during our stay we got it as a free upgrade. He and his wife were very friendly and helpful. They gave us a map and explain us where to go, what to see and what are the best places to eat in the city. The breakfast is very tasty and made with homemade greek specialities. The best! We had to take a very early morning train the day of our checkout, they offered us to drop us a the train station and prepared us a breakfast to go. You can see that they put a lot of efforts into their hotel and the services they provide and it works. Thank you again.

Epalvis suites deserves 5 stars for service alone! I was emailed by the hotel that they were overbooked and that I would be relocated to another hotel nearby (with more stars by the way.) I was very disappointed but upon our arrival at Epalvis, my boyfriend and I were served Greek coffee and juice while we waited for the owner, (?) who kindly explained that he had a large group already staying at the hotel and that they requested one more room so he had to make arrangements for us elsewhere. He gave us an overview of the town, arranged a tour for us, and then took us to the new hotel. He even asked the tour operators to drop us off at his place after the tour for a bbq that he had for his guests and he and his wife Maria served us a 6 course meal!! His daughter even played the violin for everyone. Spakos?hospitality is genuine. He treats his guests like family. At the end of it all he drove us back to our hotel and made sure we left full and happy. You cannot go wrong staying at this guesthouse.

Lovely boutique accommodation surrounded by the beauty and grandeur of the meteora in Kalambaka. Spacious family suites and cosy loft area for kids was very comfortable. Great place for stargazing, romantic getaway and family bonding over cuppa in the balcony. Lovely breakfast area within the property. Location is about 15mins or so walk to the main bustling street so accessibility to amenities is not an issue. The owners (lovely family too) are very hospitable, readily helped with transport arrangements and it helps that they spoke English too. A real hidden gem in Kalambaka!

We felt like we arrived home. we stayed 2 nights, Spiro was always there to ensure we get exactly what we need. He also offered a BBQ in one of the evening which was great. One of the best breakfast we had in Greece. One thing was annoying is that we ordered a room for 4 persons which doesn’t fit the need and we were required to upgraded when arrived to the Hotel

We are a couple with 3 children and had planed for a long time a trip without the children to celebrate an anniversary. We had booked a 1 night at the Epavlis Boutique Hotel, Kalambaka about a month in advance and guess what... when we arrived the owner/manager told us without any noticed in advance (he had our Mobile numbers) that "unfortunately" he cant host us. Why? - well, the first excuse was a wedding or something like this... and later on he said there are problems with the water or whatever. It doesn't really matter, it was so frustrating... he took us to a different, lower rated "guesthouse" and since we planed to stay in Mateora just for one night we did not had a real chance/time to look for other alternatives.... to summarize - we had an extremely frustrating experience with the Epavlis Boutique Hotel.
