Florida del Inca Hotel

To be fair, it was clean.

Its not a hotel, its a guest house. The staff is the owner himself in charge of everything and a few assistents during the day. Thus, when you dont align with owner expectations he becomes quite unhappy. For example, he locks the door around 11pm. If you want to go in or our, you have to wake him up, personally. Room was very cold at night and no heater provided. Sometimes you have to wait to get hot water, sometimes you have to ask for it because i think they switch off the heater at night. Wifi is weak and going up and down. At breakfast they dont serve food to share, every time you want smth you have to ask. You ask for cheese - they bring you personally two pieces or sometimes say it has finished. The property has big number of rooms and its clean, but service and management create the atmosphere which does not look friendly or convenient at all.

Good neighbourhood. Faces a public park. Nice and clean room with bathroom and toilet. Decent wi-fi and breakfast. Very supportive staff. Close to shops and main road to city centre/airport. Value for money.

Sehr sparsames Frühstück, nicht immer warmes Wasser, Probleme mit dem Zimmerschloss. Wirklich doofen und langsamen Personal und unglaublich unfreundliche Hotelbesitzer. Ich gebe eine negative Bewertung wirklich ungern, aber diesmal mein Geduld gebrochen.

The hotel is a family-owned and run business. The owner, his son, wife, and cousin were all there at one time or another and always warmly welcomed us, offered us some muna tea for altitude sickness, and catered to our very early schedule for breakfast. They also brought me some hot water with salt to gargle with as I had a sore throat, as well as a heater since I had a chill, part of the cold I caught in Machu Picchu. There wasn't anything they did not address when we asked. I stayed in this hotel 8 years ago, and it is run by the same people; they are delightful and that's the biggest reason I returned.

This is a family-run hotel, and they are all so kind, helpful, accommodating for all our situations, like getting up at very early times and providing coffee and a delicious breakfast, bringing me hot water and salt so I could gargle for my sore throat, and a heater as I was chilly due to the cold I was getting. We were greeted each time we arrived, and we were offered a lovely cup of muna or coca tea that helps with the high altitude of Cusco. They offer a ride to and from the airport for 30 soles, about $10 US, compared to the taxis at the airport that were $20 US., which is anywhere between 5 minutes at 5 am or 15 minutes in times of high traffic. I stayed at this hotel 8 years ago, and I returned due primarily to the friendly host and nice accommodations. It's a nice hotel and comfortable if you are in and out on half or full day tours, or just walking around and partaking in the food or museums. I highly recommend...

For the price, accommodations, and kindness of the owner and his family I met this time; his wife, son, and cousin. They were all lovely.

Some days the water is hot, others not so much. Breakfast is very basic
