"Lovely and charming old style motel with a great manager."

Lovely and charming old style motel with two swimming pools, one of which is salt water. It was a refreshing change from identikit motels and hotels. The manager, Maggie, was wonderful and kindly helped us with suggestions for dinner and nightlife. We were able to store our luggage after checking out and rent an umbrella to go to the beach. We also had an excellent dinner at the Wine Garden restaurant down the street from Aqua. We’d like to return for a longer stay one day.

Nothing. I don’t understand comments that make it sound a bit rundown.

Small nice hotel close to the beach, not in the first line that makes it quiet.

No power outlet near the bed. There are plenty cozy chairs on property territory but pillows definitely requires laundry/cleaning.

Friendly staff, amazing location for beach lovers. Great food within 3-5 minute walks.

You’re surrounded by 5 star hotels, so you notice it’s not, but it’s still a great little quiet place.

Die Nähe zum Strand. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.

Safe funktionierte nicht, trotz Reparaturversuch, eine Fensterscheibe hatte einen grossen Sprung, auf warmes Wasser im Badezimmer muss 3 und mehr Minuten gewartet werden. Bodenbelag des einen Pools müsste saniert werden. Kurz: Grundsanierung steht dringend an, wenn es weiterhin attraktiv bleiben soll (respektive, wenn der Preis gerechtfertigt sein soll).

"Very Good"

The check-in went smoothly. The property is cute ... two pools in separate areas. A lovely, shaded courtyard with multiple seating areas for privacy. A fun seating area closer to the street for people watching. The location is ideal and 100% walkable to the beach, numerous hotels, cafes, restaurants, bars and entertainment. All within minutes. The bed was very comfortable. Basics covered. The room is dated, but attention for comfort is taken. Parking adjacent to building is convenient at $10/day. I would stay again.

Not just this hotel, but I wish cleaning staff would pay attention to and remove their own long hair strands from the floors/washroom area and laundered towels. It sort of creeps me out.
