Azure Hotel and Art Studio

We loved the little cottage style the kitchen. It was right on the beach and we loved the decor.

This was our first trip to Saint Maarten and enjoyed every second at Azure! The hotel is small, quaint and quiet and right on the beach! It was the most relaxing and perfect vacation. Mike and his wife were wonderful and gracious hosts! We traveled all around the island and felt thankful we chose to stay at Azure! There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance and Mike provided wonderful recommendations! We will definitely be visiting again soon!

This was our second stay at Azure. We appreciate all the little things and they think of everything to make your stay an enjoyable one. The location is perfect and literally a few steps to Simpson Bay Beach right out the front door. The staff is so accommodating and very helpful. You can tell they love working there and are more like family. We missed Mike & Fawnette this time but we will see them again one day. They need to know what a terrific staff they have!

No glitz straight beach is how I can describe my stay. Amazing location, clean rooms, pharmacy not too far, and restaurants at walking distance. The owner Mike lives on the property so if you need anything just ask. The only thing that I think my room was missing was a few usb charging ports and an iron. If you’re tired, you’re mind is always running, and you just need a place to relax, this is definitely the hotel for you. Will recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Our stay was 1 week starting 5/27/25. Mike was so charming and friendly. Many recommendations for restaurants and taxis. Our suite was very nice and clean. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was nice, made breakfast several times during our stay. Lounge chairs, umbrellas and towels provided. Beach was private and secluded. Very peaceful and relaxing. A lovely experience and pleasant stay. Would definitely stay here again if we return to Sint Maarten.

Our room, The Garden Suite, was wonderful! The morning view from our private patio was the perfect start to each day! With the kitchenette we were able to stay 'home' on Cruise Ship Day and avoid the crowds. When we return to SXM, we will definitely stay at the Azure again !!

My room was on the ground floor, right on the beach — I could hear the sound of the ocean all night. It was peaceful and incredibly relaxing, like falling asleep in a private paradise.
