Azure Hotel and Art Studio

Is now 4 year I Spend Time at azure hôtel and art studio. In the most Beautiful beach of sint marteen, Micheal has always been so welcoming and available. The spot is amazing, cosy room or studio. Directly on the Beach in a quiet Area but still so close from all the fun part of simson bay! I feel bad to share because I wish to keep this spot for me but I Would be ashame if you cross Sxm and do stop by them! Love it, definitly the best hotel and spot of the Area Thank you!!

We had booked a room in the courtyard thinking it was on the beach side. The owner offered us a beach side room at no extra charge when it became available 2 days after our arrival for the duration of our visit. For this act of kindness, the location, high standards of housekeeping, and happily appointed rooms we highly recommend this property for your next trip.

We had booked a room in the courtyard thinking we had booked a room facing the beach and when one became available 2 days after our arrival Michael offered it to us at no extra charge for the remainder of our 7 day stay. He was so kind and generous with his attention to making our vacation unforgettable. It was also obvious to us that their long-standing guests adore him and the property. This is the second time we have stayed. It is a small hotel with only a few units. It is situated right on and in the middle of a nice beach. Peaceful , Not crowded. There are larger resorts at each ends of the beach. Many restaurants and bars in walking distance . The owners are very nice, friendly, and helpful! Just a great place to stay!

This hotel is my kind of place. Fantastic location on the beach. Very down to earth atmosphere. Very attentive, owner. Great decorative touches with amazing sculptures, garden, and and tortoises. And all that for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

This boutique hotel is a gem. Michael is a great host and makes you feel like returning family as opposed to just a hotel check-in. Azure is close to many very good restaurants and right on the sand in St. Martin. We plan on returning.

I wanted quiet place on beach away from loud bars , casinos and nightclubs. Great host , very clean, walk to supermarket, restaurants. Great views of sunset. Safe area. Exactly as described and what I wanted. Laid back vibe , beach beds, umbrellas, towels and floats included.

We stayed here with Michael & Fawnette for 4 nights and wished we had booked to stay longer! Loved the area! It was less than a 10-minute slow walk to the main strip with dozens of restaurants, bars and services (banks, pharmacies, supermarkets, spas, etc). We walked to the main road practically every day to enjoy at least one meal. We most appreciated having a small supermarket at the end of the street just a 1-minute walk away. It made for easy ferrying of groceries. We had a fully-equipped kitchenette complete with utensils, plates, pots, microwave...so it was convenient to make our breakfasts and warm up leftovers. The location is truly A+ and we were happy that we did not book to stay on the busy Airport road. The hotel is on the beach and it was so nice to get up and see the sun rise and have a serene morning walk. I saw so many people exercising, walking their dogs and meditating at 6:30am on this stretch of beach. Our stay coincided with the January full moon and it was just wonderful being on the sand watching the moon and stars. I haven't done this in ages and it was great that there wasn't much light pollution in this end of the beach to enjoy the nights skies even more! The beach sand here is soft and swimming is in super clear blue waters. It was calmer than other beaches (e.g. Maho Beach) at this time of year. Very relaxing! If you're looking to unwind and de-stress, this is the place. There were always loungers and umbrellas available. Probably the best part of our stay was having the best nights' sleep that we've had in years! The quality of their towels, sheets and mattresses is top-class! We usually have trouble sleeping in a new place, but from the very first night to our last, we slept soundly! Maybe it was the daily walking, swimming and fresh air, but the bed was definitely a winner for us! It's a 3-star hotel and it has all the creature comforts of home. Loved the bath amenities. Simple furnishings and we didn't need for more. The air-conditioning worked superbly and this was great on hot afternoons. When we return to St. Maarten, Azure will be our automatic hotel of choice!

Very good experience in the Beach suite. Hotel cleaned the room thoroughly each day. It appeared that other people are repeated visitors due to the hospitality of Mike and his employees. We will be coming back and if you like simple, clean, beautiful beach setting then this place will be perfect for you.
