The Coolidge Corner Guest House: A Brookline Bed and Breakfast

The building was cute.

I had to pay separate for a shower/toilet if I wanted one. The stairs were crowded/small especially when carrying luggage. I would have loved to talk with the owners and learn more about the city and things to do. Staying in a place with several others, I thought it would be nice to talk with everyone, but it’s as if everyone were in their own worlds. Parking ( if I had been able to get it ) was not good. You have to park behind others. Since I could not get parking, I had to pay separately for parking.

Location was great. Kitchen/breakfast was very nice. Responsiveness of hosts was unparalleled to another stay I've had in Boston.

I loved the cosy, characterful room. The house is very eye-catching and distinctive from the outside. Self check-in worked well, and the onsite staff were very friendly and helpful, offering sightseeing suggestions. Coolidge Corner is a great location with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants all within minutes walk of the property. Public transport into the city is also super-easy and cheap, and Ubers were easy to get and inexpensive.

If you are in a room that doesn't have an ensuite bathroom, then you might have to wait until it's vacant, but it wasn't a problem.

Parking is an extra charge and a first come first serve basis…make sure you plan for that ahead spaces fill up quickly!

Room was clean and bright. Neighborhood quiet and safe. Room furnishings done in appealing and comfortable manner. Breakfast adequate and opportunity to sit around a diningroom table with other guests was a plus. Enjoyed the visiting over breakfast. Staff friendly. Could walk 5-10 minutes to catch the T to Boston. Very conveniently located.

Quaint room with lovely amenities and private bathroom. Perfect for the trip.

Quiet, Clean room, tv wasn’t connected and needed to be fixed to cable. Hard to reach anyone but great service once we talked to someone. Grateful Housekeeping helped my daughter move her luggage out.
