The Coolidge Corner Guest House: A Brookline Bed and Breakfast

If you are traveling with luggage better to avoid. Building is built in 1900, no Elevator and very narrow stairs. When you walk on the steps it squeaks and imagine taking steps with luggage. Very tiny place for shower and toilet. Basically only bagels as breakfast⁰

The single bed is still on our room. We only paid for two nights. My daughter is in her dorm tonight. (Tuesday night) we thought the bed would be gone today after we moved our daughter in at BU today. We should not be charged for the three days just the two days only.

Lo mejor la ubicación. Nos gustó mucho el barrio y sobre todo la amabilidad y el buen desempeño de su trabajo de las empleadas. Las mujeres que trabajan son encantadoras y serviciales.

Nuestra habitación era pequeña, con baño pequeño en la parte trasera, sin vistas y con ruidos por las máquinas de climatización.

Beautiful and beautifully appointed old house, full of charm. Delicious and copious breakfast. Very kind, efficient personnel. Coolidge Corner is great, and the Green Line is very nearby. Walking distance from amazing museums. Highly recommended!

Parking is difficult. The B&B only has 4 places, and they were all taken. Nearby parking places are either expensive (and full) or risky. The Green Line is slow and subject to delays and breakdowns. Nothing was wrong with the B&B though!

Camera molto spaziosa e letto ampio e comodo. Bagno pulito, peccato per la doccia nella vasca. Personale disponibile. Colazione varia ed abbondante. Ci tornerei.

A lovely small bed & breakfast (B&B) accommodation in a quiet area. The room was comfortable and the facilities were good. Staff were present in the evenings up to 8pm to answer questions and help. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The staff had allocated me a quiet room, as I had requested in advance.

The air-conditioning came on and went off without my being able to control it, which during a hot humid night was frustrating. Later, the staff told me that it was set centrally, so one temperature for the whole hotel. Once this fact was understood and accepted I used a portable fan provided in the room to cool myself when the air-conditioning turned itself off - and this solution was sufficient. It would have been helpful for the hotel managers to have explained about the air-conditioning in the B&B's instructions - I read them carefully and nothing at all was mentioned.

The owner was so kind to bring in window AC units when the AC was out. Nice room with access to living room area, kitchenette, dining room, and bathroom. Clean! Bed was okay- no frills mattress. Charming bed and breakfast feel in what seemed like a nice area.
