Captain Mey's Inn

The porch was amazing! A great place to just sit and relax, even at the dead of night. I was hoping the breakfast would have been available by the time was stayed considering everything opening back up and pretty much back to normal. But unfortunately, nope.

We had a great 2 night stay. There to visit out of town family who was visiting the area from Oregon.

Captin Meys Inn was beautiful! It was comfortable, roomy, and kept spotless. The owner was very nice, She offered beach towels and chairs for guest use, hand towels and bath towels were provided along with shampoo, conditioner etc.. we stayed in the Piet Hein room. 3rd floor. It took a bit for the air conditioner to cool the room due to the heatwave, but once it did it was comfortable. The bed was comfortable the tub was great.I will be staying again next year.

Great porch to meet friends, have a drink or just relax. Close to the mall and beach.

Quite, convenient location near shopping, restaurants and beach with great wrap-around porch with plenty of seating.

room was misleading..told us it was two bedroom on their website but we were crammed in a tiny room where the beds were literally on top of one another. When we checked in the woman didn't even say hi or welcome but just a "sign your paperwork and give me your IDs"...we had a detatched bathroom down the hall which made 0 sense. The door was loud and woke the entire floor up when using it in the middle of the night. Shared fridge left us no room to put our water bottles in.

It's a beautiful house with lots of character! Rita was very helpful. We did miss not having breakfast items, but were warned about that ahead of time.

Excellent location to beach, restaurants, and shopping. Room was a little tight for three adults. Had a queen bed and twin bed. The twin bed was in the corner below sloped attic ceiling made it difficult to stand. It worked for us for two nights but would consider other options if came back. Bathroom only had a ceiling fan. After showering the room was extremely hot and could not stay in to get ready. Shower is tiny while a huge jacuzzi type tub placed in the center of the room due to the slope ceilings. No breakfast offered due to COVID which was odd as no one wore masks and restrictions seemed to be lifted in the area. Cape May is beautiful, clean, and safe.

Very cute and 'homey'. Within walking distance of lots of things, including the beach. No breakfast. Not ADA accessible.
