Hotel Le Stelle - self check-in

The property was so cold, AI was there at the end of March, 2024. The issue had been raised withtbhemanagemebt team, who said it is not something the they manage, it managed centrally. They room vet tight hard to move around.

Room has not had a deep clean in quite some time, indicated by the layer of dust in all corners as well as behind the refrigerator (that was not functional) and inside the Nespresso machine (that was full of empty pods). Second attempt at staying here, there will not be a third. Also, the door had no functional secondary lock.

Centrally located in a beautiful area of the city.

Good location, but the listing was not clear that the hotel was above a restaurant with no lobby. Had to leave our bags in the middle of a restaurant. One of our rooms had a terrible smell, we had to keep the windows open. Good location in the center of Lucern, but would not recommend.

Self check in hotel, so not sure how to rate the staff, so this is based on the cleanliness. I had the very top room. The room conditions were a little lack luster. Dirty floors, as if they hadn't been swept in a few stays. Shower head was broken and would not stay at the top of the vertical slide adjustment, so the water just hit me in the same of my back. The hotel is however in a great location, and was relatively clean. Always felt safe, The rooms need just a little attention.

This is in a great location. The room is very sparse with no place to set luggage or items in bathroom. Some rooms have a courtyard view but ours looked at a building and someone’s balcony. Bed is very firm but not too bad. Elevator is 1 story up so you have to lug bags up a twisting flight to get to the weird little elevator.
