The hotel was clean & tidy, comfortable. The service, food & bar were really good. Definitely go back when I’m in the area again.

Lovely old hotel, a little miscommunication by the staff. Booked breakfast when checking in but last morning stay all breakfast put away but Lovely Anna to the rescue as was told we not having breakfast even though we booked and paid, Anna brought it all out as had cleared the restaurant and we had a nice breakfast. Rooms could do with usb outlets in plug sockets. Very old world but comfortable and dont forget to turn heating down on radiator like we did was a sauna. The road is quite busy and noisy. But ok

It was very basic and a bit tired, shower unit kept running cold however the room was quiet.

Nice hotel, but some of the other guests were not well behaved. Did stay on a Saturday night and it was busy.

Lovely comfy bed and easy walking distance into the town

We had good stay , great location to town Clean tidy friendly staff Car park on site , room was warm and comfortable. Breakfast was great I’m gluten intolerant and no problem had gluten free sausages as well 😀

We were greeted by lovely staff upon arrival. The place is a bit dated but nice and warm and clean. The room was a good size but there were a few cob webs hanging from the ceiling. Other than that a really pleasant stay. A 10/15 min flat walk in to the City walls. We got an uber taxi back later in the evening which cost £4.30. Would stay here again
