The Terrace Hotel

The place is okay very vintage.

We didn't like that there is a lot of light in the bedroom. From the router lights under the TV and smoke alarm lights. We get a lot of lights from outside windows already. That keeps us awake We have to cover on of the light under the TV to reduce brightness.

Location for where we wanted to be, between train station and kings park

No cooked breakfast on public holiday

Location was great. Room was lovely Complimentary drinks fantastic

The portable air conditioner Was so noisy. Although it blew cold air, the unit was really hot. It made the room very hot. Didn't sleep all night The service at breakfast was terrible took 45mins to get scrambled egg. Walk in customers ordering after us received food quicker. Ordered a cup of tea, never received asked the waiter twice for it. After one hour gave up

We were given a different room (no aircon on a 38C day) although a downgrade, After that our stay was excellent

We have not yet received a refund from the downgrade although being told I would be contacted. I rang again t enquire...and was told I would be contacted...still waiting. Very disappointing

The location was good for restaurants, cafes , shops.

The room was poor
