The hotel staff was pretty amazing from the get-go. They went above and beyond to make sure that the guest experience was excellent and really help make some useful decisions about the area. The room was also impressive and the attention to detail was nice. Example include that they wrap all their cups and mugs. I recommend getting their garden patio for an additional fees.

I can’t offer any comments on the cleanliness, room size or friendliness of the staff. (Though judging from some of the reviews here, I’m supposing these are on par with the business practices.) What I can comment on is the completely inept and unethical business practices of the staff and manager of the Tiger Hotel. I’ll try for the short version: I booked rooms here for 2 of our staff to attend a meeting at the Univ of Mo. 7 days before the meeting date, one of these persons could no longer attend the meeting, so I changed the name on the reservation. I received an updated confirmation clearly showing 2 rooms had been booked, but still showing the name of the person I was cancelling for. I called the hotel to confirm that all was correct. At check-in, the 2 travelers paid with separate credit cards and were again assured that there was not a third room. Guess what!? We had a “no show” fee of one night posted to the corporate card used to reserve the room. I contacted the hotel and was denied a refund. We contacted the hotel manager (at least 3 times), we opened a case with IGH corporate. I have provided documentation and a timeline for everything at least twice, but am still waiting on my refund. The Bottom line here is that we reserved 2 room, have a confirmation that states such and we paid for 2 rooms. Changes were made well within the hotel’s change/cancellation policy, but we have not been able to get this refunded. Do not stay here if you have any other options.

Perfect location, lovely rooms

The rooms are very small and there ate camaras on the patio that connected to our room that we paid extra for. It was kind of creepy that i couldnt enjoy or patio because of the camaras watching!!! I paid $30 extra for a nice breakfast in the morning and didnt even use it. I thought it was ridiculous that i paid for this extra and they said we had to pay for our coffees pr juices. Why pay the extra money for breakfast and we still had to pay even more. This hotel is defintely not worth the money and the extras that i paid for and didnt use. Also all vending machines were broken. The ac/heating in room was super noisy. You would think for a total of $311 for one night for anniversary i would of have enjoyed it but it suck!

Great hotel with kind staff

My wife and I will only stay here in Columbia. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The restaurants have great food and a variety of cocktails. We love that we can have a night out without even leaving the building!
