Hotel El-Djazair

Frühstück war eher durchschnittlich. Es fehlte an frischem Obst und die Kaffeemaschine war wohl nicht richtig eingestellt. Balkontür lies sich nicht richtig schließen. Personal beim Empfang war hilfreich bei Wechsel des Zimmers.

For the last 7 years, I’ve been spending my vacations back home in Algeria at this Hotel. However, the service is going down and down every time, and worse to worse. The room service is limited to burgers and chicken breast !!! And delivery is not allowed! And you have to deal with what’s available at the hotel. The breakfast is very limited as well. The staff (except two or three) is becoming unprofessional and I really understand now the reason of the deplorable situation of the tourism in Algeria. Except the Historical background of the hotel and the nice location, Saint Goerge hotel is losing all its prestige and becoming a “dormitory” and the situation is alarming and requires a real actions to improve literally everything.

It's such a big loss to our loved country to see such a sacred hotel turned into a low life place after a recent visit to the botanic garden with my family just to find out that it's run by a woman that has no respect for her clients and treat's them with very bad altitude . After such a shock I decided not to go back there ever again for the rest of my life . It brake's my heart . 😢

Services need a lot of improvements, and for a country with so much beautiful fruits and vegetables, the buffet for breakfast is very poor. Staff need to have a lot of training for the guests.

4 nuit au St Georges. Lieu de séjour des alliés qui y ont préparé le débarquement de 1943. Tradition et modernité, l'histoire et la nostalgie. Bien situé, accueil professionnel et attentionné.

Pros: Accept Visa & MC at front desk Bar Night club Large compound Great views Neat history Cons: Expensive food & drink Dated and dilapidated rooms WiFi is out of date by 2 generations (WiFi 4) Very few restaurants within walking distance.

Un grand manque de gestion interne de l’etat des chambres. Hotel à la base de grande classe mais délaissée. Le staff est très sympatique, mais le fait qu’on paie une grosse somme pour un café et avoir un café type nescafé… ensuite il est bien situé pour faire les démarches locales.

This 5-star hotel is located in Algiers Center, with parks and museums (Bardo, Antique & Islamic Art) in walking distance. Taxis are easy to arrange. My room had a great view over the white city and the Mediterranean. The hotel offers a nice variety of dining options, indoor and outdoor. I like in particular the photo gallery of famous visitors and the beautiful botanical garden.

Très bel hôtel, on peut visiter les intérieurs et le jardin et c’est tres beau. Personnel sympathique Chambre avec jolie vue sur la baie.
