Hotel Casa Palacio Cadiz

All was fine with this hotel --except that we had not been told to pick up the keys to our room at another address, a few doors down. Tired and weary, we had to figure out how to contact the number posted at the door which did not work on the first three tries. IN short, a frustrating arrival.

Clean, comfortable, updated, fully equipped apartment in the heart of Cadiz. Walking distance to the sea walls, plazas, gardens, shopping, museums, parking and all the restaurants that you could want. Great stay!

We only spent one night there, but the room was comfortable and clean, with a full kitchen. The only complaint we had was the bathroom. It was a typical old-style European bathroom, but with a shower instead of a tub. There was no shower enclosure. Had we showered, the water would have run all over the bathroom floor and sprayed the walls. The pocket door to the bathroom was in need of repair and was stuck in the wall, making it impossible to close. Since we were only there one night and have been married for 45 years, we felt comfortable not showering there and just waiting until we got to our next destination. But if I had been traveling with casual friends, this would have been embarrassing because of the lack of privacy. There was no onsite management, and we figured a phone call would not get the door fixed since it would probably take longer than we were willing to wait. When we checked out, we simply left our key on the front desk, so there was no one to "complain" to.

The location is great: on the pedestrian street right next to the main square! The apartment is spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. Staff are very helpful.

Comfortable space for three with reasonably well equipped kitchen area. Location is superb - very near to lively squares and short walk from beaches and principle sites. Check in was simple and efficient.

Great place, a little hard to find at night though because there isn't a sign. So make sure you write down the exact address.

Had a wonderful 3 nights. The hotel is very quiet and located right in the heart of the old town. Close to a supermarket and markets. It is close to all the tourist sights. Great having washing and drying facilities for clothes. Having a kitchen made for ease of eating. Very reasonably priced for what we got. Would go back and stay again without any thought.

Great location as it was located in one of the pedestrianised street in the city centre so evening strolls to shops and restaurants were great.The studio room was compact and our comfort was hampered by a noisy fridge. Very helpful manager and if travelling by car, need to consider parking costs.

Don't expect to drive to the apt. Walk in only about three to four blocks. Your GPS will go nuts trying to get you there. Otherwise the location is perfect.

The location is fantastic and the apartment was also amazing. It was clean, and luxurious. It was a shame we were only there for one night. The whole apartment was very modern, with everything being very new and well appointed. Sadly no coffee available, however coffee shops galore to have takeout if you want. Loved it, will definitely return.
