"Great per-friendly location to head up the mountain to McDonald observatory."

Great location to head up the mountain to McDonald observatory. It was pet friendly, there is also a nice creek bed behind the property where you can walk your dog (although there were a lot burrs). Need to keep your dog on leash. It would be great if they added a fenced-in off-leash location for pet owners. Breakfast was included which was a nice bonus. It was basic (pancakes, toast, cereal and bananas), but appreciated. I do wish the coffee was better though. We made a stop in town at the Stone Village Market store where we found an excellent coffee and some amazing cookies at a very reasonable price.

No off-leash area and sub-par coffee
