Hotel Komune and Beach Club Bali

This place is amazing, and the people who work here are even more amazing again! We got married at Komune just under 2 weeks ago and we couldn't of asked for a better day/night. From organising and planning it with kylie who went above and beyond to make sure our vision came to life to the whole wedding team on the day. Dewa was an absoulte champ who needs a pay rise and the girls who helped my throughout the day / night (pe and Anita) best fairy godmothers ever! 😊 thank you again to everyone at komune for a wedding we will never forget, we will be back for sure and thank you again for being a huge part of our special day, not a thing we would change!

We had a fantastic experience at Komune hotel restaurant. The food was delicious and the service from Adit was exceptional and always friendly. I would highly recommend hotel Komune for a great meal, quality service and amazing beach views :)

Such a lovely restaurant with an incredible view. Would highly recommend for a relaxing breakfast. Adit is an awesome waiter who kindly offered meal suggestions and made the effort to check if we were happy for the cute local doggies to sit near us (which of course we were!).

Attending my second Ananda yoga retreat. Exceeding expectations with the addition of the sauna, ice bath + reformer Pilates studio. I’m loving every minute and already planning my next visit!! The food is delicious!! There are lots of plant based + gluten free options to choose from. The smoothies are really tasty too. Louise

Komune is like walking into a paradise. Rooms are spotless, modern and beds comfy. Food is 5star and presentation of every meal has style of international standards. Facilities are exceptional with plenty of room , yoga , aerial yoga, gym. Sauna, ice bath, pools, child free pool and area , kids area, massages , salon you will not be disappointed

If I could give this resort 10 Stars - it still would not be enough! This is my third experience at Hotel Komune. Myself and my husband found this resort by accident in 2023 and what a blessed accident that was — we have been hooked ever since then! We travel 20 hours from the UK to Komune once a year and the long journey is worth every minute! We have now run a couple of 5 day Hypnotherapy retreats at Hotel Komune and everything from the reservations, food, organisation, scheduling and planning has always been a seamless operation. Every single member of staff treats you as if you are the only guest in the resort - they all get to know you by name and always miraculously remember your room number. The enthusiastic welcome from the porters and reception team we receive in Komune is full of love and joy — and it always feels like coming home to a long lost family - full of huge smiles and positive energy. Special thanks and huge gratitude to the amazing humans - Degus and Agung Adi for helping make our retreat flow smoothly and feel exclusive. Huge gratitude to the gorgeous souls in the spa. The treatments in the spa are the best on the planet and once you have had a Komune spa experience, you will always compare everything else to this! Agus and the bar, restaurant, kitchen and health hub staff are exceptionally attentive and will always bend over backwards to make every single meal experience memorable and delicious. There is a brilliant visiting band in the beach club bar are called Toba Band — and they are simply brilliant. I love the way they serenade us every year without fail with their charm and fabulous musical energy. The trainee staff members are also always so polite and happy and eager to learn and help. A special shout out goes to Pink - she is a special girl and has found a special home in my heart. Yoga with Dindha Lee is a huge highlight for us, she’s the best yoga teacher in the world and every year we always wish we could bring her home with us! There are so many of the Komune staff who I love and appreciate so much and I can’t want to see them all again next year in May at our third Find Your Flow Retreat.

If you are looking for the most amazing and relaxing wellness retreat then this is the place! I’ve never raved about a resort on social media before and I’ve stayed at some of the nicest resorts in Bali and Asia over the last 30 years - but this place takes the cake! It’s not the most expensive or the fanciest I’ve stayed but as a complete package it’s phenomenal and by far the best. Don’t get me wrong it is still pretty fancy and not cheap but there are more affordable room options. Komune Resort - Bali on the quiet east coast of Bali, but only about an hour from the airport, is just Devine and exactly what I needed after a very stressful few months. I went with one of my besties and we did the ultimate 4 night girls trip wellness retreat. Yoga daily / twice daily, included massages and spa treatments, all delicious meals included, fitness classes etc. But this place is not just another retreat venue. The energy of the place is unreal. The organic gardens and juices served three times a day, the incredibly friendly staff, the black volcanic beach sparkling like diamonds day and night, our beachfront villa with private plunge pool. The list goes on… 70 percent of the staff are employed from the little local village of Keramas and their joy and gratitude to be able to work close to home in a world class venue is palpable - of course translating to the guest experience. The food! OMG the food is delicious and so much variety which is essential really considering the remote location. They have an excellent creative chef! The resort was only 50 percent full so we were so fortunate to have our fave beachfront table every meal. The guests are all like minded people focused on health, fitness, relaxation and surfing 🏄‍♀️. Families to couples and girls trips all beautifully caterer for. There were a raft of group retreats going through during our stay but my advice is book it yourself and choose your schedule like we did. It’s a surf and wellness resort set in front of one of the world’s best surf breaks so if you love to surf this place is also for you. I’m not a surfer myself but sitting there at the restaurant watching perfect barrels rolling over the reef day after day was idyllic. We loved watching the local dogs and their puppies play in front of the resort all day. All animals are respected here and exist in harmony at the resort. A local duck 🦆 farmer walks his flock of ducks through the resort each evening much to the delight of the guests. Here are a few snaps from our most amazing trip. Beautiful place, staff, spa, food, the list goes on! Had the best stay here practicing yoga for a week. The adult pool is a gorgeous spot to relax and the facilities are incredible. The spa was especially amazing and staff there were so friendly!

This is by far the best resort we have stayed at as a family. It met all of our needs from healthy delicious food to kind and attentive staff to an awesome kids club with staff who looked after our kids as they would their own. We used the trusted and beautiful soul Setia, the babysitter to mind our child a couple of hours daily. Our children were cared for and had so much fun. I can highly recommend the kids club and Setia if you need support for the kids. All of our needs were met as a family. Our cups are full and we cannot wait to return next year.
