We received a warm welcome at reception when we checked in and all the staff were friendly and helpful thereafter. We had a very enjoyable stay and liked the fact that the hotel was close to the town and restaurants as well as being right on the coast with lovely views. Breakfast was very good and on the occasions we ate in their a la carte restaurant found it to be excellent. We had a very peaceful week and would certainly go there again.

This hotel was beautiful. Located right on the water with amazing views. The staff was wonderful and went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable!

My husband and I visited Sardegna on our honeymoon. Unfortunately, we visited the island during a tropical storm, so all of our excursions were cancelled. Our only option was to stay inside the hotel, which was very nice and welcoming. The hotel lobby is gorgeous and is very homey. Because our wine tour and dolphin watching excursions were cancelled, we asked the hotel if we could change our reservation to leave the island early and enjoy the rest of our honeymoon on the main land. The Marketing head, Tullio Da Tome, was very friendly and accommodating to our request. His kindness made our otherwise stormy experience in Sardegna a very happy one indeed.

From the moment we arrived everything was fantastic. The staff were lovely and very helpful indeed and our room was lovely.

Situated in a quiet street right on the beach front this hotel is ideal for a relaxing get away with wonderful customer service. The interiors use high quality materials to provide an airy and traditional, yet modern atmosphere. Our room (a comfort sea view) was spacious with a good size balcony overlooking the pool and sea. The communal areas are well organised with plenty of tables, chairs and sun loungers. Even at the busiest times there was plenty of choice and it never felt crowded. The food is a very good standard with a wide selection for the breakfast buffet and a range of choices for lunch and dinner. An evening dinner in the restaurant overlooking the sunset over the sea is definitely a must. The swimming pool is well sized with a shallower area for children which also has a jacuzzi feature. The hotel has direct access to an adjacent beach which has a large number of loungers which can be hired out. There is also a public beach next to this section with a cafe and pedalos. The sea for the entire stretch is very shallow, calm and warm. The beach can become busy between 10am-4pm but in the morning and evening is very pleasant to stroll along. Walking in the other direction there are more beaches, cafes and restaurants. There is a local town a few streets away from the hotel with a selection of eateries, shops, a pharmacy and medical centre. The hotel also provides evening entertainment with live music. A great stay!

Pleasant stay but had expected better. Rooms are dated, especially the bathroom area, and in dire need of sound-proofing. The hotel rules/regulations seem to be more for the hotel and its staff rather than the guests. The cost of daily rental of sunbeds and umbrella on the narrow beach is exorbitant.

Hotel is right on the beach, Towels, chairs, and umbrellas are provided. Food was delicious anywhere on premises. Service, second to none. Staff was absolutely fabulous. Grounds/rooms kept impeccably clean. Breakfast was very good with plenty of selections. Rooms need a bit of sprucing up, including more spacious showers in the rooms. All in all an unforgettable experience. We will be back.

Spent 1 week at gabbiano azzurro the staff couldn't do enough for you..... The two restaurants on site were first class. All in all a lovely relaxing week.
