Gabbiano Azzurro Hotel & Suites

Nice hotel that sits beautifully on the beach. Stunning view of the Gulf of Aranci. Friendly and speedy front desk service. Beautiful lobby and bar area. We had booked a “Classic Quadruple Room” for the four of us and received a tiny room on the 2nd floor facing the street, stuffed with a queen-size and a bunk bed. There was literally no room left to put and open a suitcase (other than on the bed). It didn’t look like a room designed for 4 people but rather than a standard room in which they managed to cram a bunk bed. The bunk bed had a broken rail so had to put the upper mattress on the floor to be on the safe side. We didn’t complain at the front desk but I think that as a guest, you shouldn’t have to explain that family doesn’t like a totally cramped room. And when they prepare a room like that with little care, it tells you a lot about the attitude of the hotel operator towards guests and customers. At least the room was clean and quiet. On the hotel premise, there is a nice saltwater pool facing the seaside. The pool is however unheated and quite cold at this time of the year. You can have bar service at the pool but you need to call the bartender. The pool must not be used during pm times per hotel policy which is really absurd. WiFi is spotty, slow and basically useless. Breakfast buffet was ok but not great, waiters don’t care to collect empty plates on the table.

Very lovely area of the island, we went off-season,but still a fab place to have a relaxing break. The hotel is superb, staff very welcoming, can't do enough for you, work very hard and attend to your every need. A particular thank you to the member of staff who cleaned and tidied our room (220) every day and kindly took all our beach stuff in off the balcony to stop it getting wet when it rained! The breakfast was amazing, and all the staff serving us were fantastic even though they were rushed off their feet!

Great hotel

Dissapointed with price paid in relation to room. Instead of charging for sunbeds perhaps they should use the same card system as was used for beach towels. Regretfully the beatiful beach did have plastic and paper waste. Perhaps get more involved in caring for environment around property.

Excellent location. Right on the beach and an easy walk to the cute town, with restaurants and shops. Beautiful bright lobby, friendly staff, great beach (sandy, easy to swim), and decent rooms.

We are repeating visitors now, this should conclude.

Our hotel was excellent and met our expectations completely.

Nice staff and great location however some of the facilities need to be updated to be considered a good four star e.g. pool umbrellas and sun beds dirty/broken. Room was clean and had a lovely view but not always turned down. Drinks and lunches were a little over priced however all prices were high in the area. I think if the hotel were to have a general overhaul the room prices would be justified. I would recommend this above other hotels for the area but don’t expect luxury.
