Honey Resort

Great location only few minutes walk to Kata Beach and about 20minutes walk to Karon Beach, spacious and cozy room with a bathtub inside the bathroom. They also provide free to use towels to the beach. The room has balcony and you can dry your clothes there, the surrounding is also great, covered with restaurants, night market, food courts, fruit markets, shops and bars. I will definitely book again if i go back!

Hotel is very nicely updated, good price and comfort for NYE Eve in Phuket. Lobby is outside hotel and had a very small pool. Definitely regretted upgrading to the pool access room since it faced the lobby and pool was tiny! Rooms are smaller than expected but the decor was nice. Overall a 3 star hotel, location could be better. Felt like they tired to nickel and dime every transaction at the hotel but it's expected from Thailand.

Wife and I stayed here one night. Payed for pool but it was closed when we arrived. Took 1 hour to kill mosquitos in room and still didn't get all of them. Staff weren't very pleasant. Extra charges for wifi and other options upon arrival. Rooms need some updating but are decent.

Great stay in Kata and would definately return. Only issue was Wifi was on the entertainment package but an extra charge was applied. Small irritation nothing more.

The location is a bit confusing. The hotel seems to be rather in Kata, but close to Karon as well. Kata beach is a short walk, and Karon beach a bit further. Both beaches are nice, but really crowded. The area is in general pretty touristy, whether that's good or bad depends on personal taste of course. The room was very nice, clean, good bed and ac. Breakfast was simple (toast, eggs, fresh fruit), but we found out to be sufficient.

Staff very helpful. Close to must things, beach a 5min walk but be prepared for the poor scenery on the "river" walk. Hotel bar & restaurant only ok. Breakfast good.

Clean, safe, close to everything and very reasonably priced. I will return again. The waters at Marion beach are clean. You'll find the odd discarded cup or coconut husk drink here and there. They're cleaned up by the next day. The beach is well populated with mostly Russian and the odd Italian. There must be close to a hundred restaurants to chose from within walking distance of Honey. The seafood is outstanding and so cheap. It will take you an hour to get there from the airport by mini bus or taxi. Most of the other beaches are even further. Find someone to share the cab ride on the plain if you can. Don't waist your time looking for a place in Patong, it's a gong show. Go for a single night visit. Don't expect the amenities of a $150 hotel in one that costs $45. The view from your front door isn't the greatest, a vacant field, but the view from your balcony overlooks the street. I was only there to sleep anyways. Slept well every night. No bugs. Everything worked in the room. The breakfast was modest. I didn't come to Thailand to have bacon and eggs. Have a coffee and a few things to get you going then hit the beach. "Betty" at the front desk was a joy. She was the best versed in English. Helpful. If you wish to get away for a day, they have an assortment of pamphlets at the front desk. Many made use of the pool area in the afternoon when the beach was an inferno. I stayed for six nights and will stay another six on my next visit.

It was perfect for a few night but would not stay much longer. I had a pool access room were everyone can see in if your not careful.

The hotel was nice, good value for money. Breakfast was average, but overall for the hotel a good stay. Don't know if I'd recommend Phuket itself though. But Honey is a great place if you do come!
