Very friendly personnel, clean rooms with view on mountains, great food and a really exclusive breakfast buffet. After whole day hiking you can relax in a little spa. For children there is a playground near the hotel terasse. Dogs are welcome. Amazing was the Sörenberg Card, which allowes you using the cable cars in the region for free.

Dear traveler don’t be put off by an unassuming exterior for inside this wonderful wee establishment over delivers at every opportunity. Very clean comfortable rooms, appear to be basic on first entry but has everything you need for a great rest. Two things stand out for me though at Richli- the staff and the food. Hotel is run by a husband and wife team who never seem to be off duty- they lead a very well trained and friendly group of staff who go out of their way to provide first rate hospitality. The breakfasts are truly amazing and provide a buffet that you just can’t help going back to-ditto the evening meals that offer a range of imaginative culinary delights. If you are in this area, don’t drive past Richli- it is truly worth the time to stop and enjoy Swiss hospitality st it’s best- forget those 5 star Goliath’s in Zurich- this is where it’s at!

A magnificent boutique hotel. The location is perfect, waking up to the mountain views and fresh air, and with an easy ten minute walk into the main part of town. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, but the best part of Rischli is the food. Stayed there for a week and the dinner options were varied and full of flavor that had us talking about each meal the following day. Breakfast is something I already miss - the variety and quality of the food had me already planning what to eat from the night before. Additionally, the staff across the hotel were consistently outstanding - and with my English-only language skills, forever patient with me.

Recently stayed for an event in this hotel. Rooms ample size but very basic no tea/coffee facilities very basic bath products just soap in a bottle and a bar of soap. Bed and pillows not very comfortable but first floor restaurant and patio lovely areas to enjoy the views. Nice staff but often struggle to understand English. Breakfast buffet style usual cheese, bread, fruit,yogurt etc. Boiled Eggs available but no other choices of hot food

They have goats. Baby goats. How can you go wrong when you stay next to baby goats? Big room. Great shower. Good WiFi. No A/C but French doors open to let in mountain air. Very nice staff with a shoutout to Yvonne. Can accommodate English speakers easily. In the summer (June) gave me a complimentary pass for the gondola to the top of the mountains (saved 38 CHF). Would love to return some day.

We stayed here for a couple of days during our summer holidays. The rooms are very nice and clean and have all the facitities you expect. The hotel staff is very friendly and kind. The breakfast is great with a wide variety. The area is not extremely toursitic, so ideal for a nice and relaxing holiday.

We only got to spend one night here on our 15 day tour of Europe with my Girl Scout troop, but would have happily stayed longer. Absolutely beautiful property with large comfortable rooms and amazing bathrooms. Best "hotel meal" we had the entire trip. Homemade bread, fresh vegetables, homemade salad dressing, all YUMMY! The staff was super nice and friendly. Wish I were a skier so that I could go back in the winter.

good location for winter and summer outdoor actiities, big parking place at the hotel nice rooms really excellent breakfast buffet incluiding a very large choice of fruits wellness area with turkish bath and bio sauna unfortunately the massage room is very noisy: that impacts negatively the massage experience

Found this hotel online while travelling across Switzerland. Had a great experience with lots of goodies included in the price (eg. free tickets to the local cable cars). Operated by the owners which were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant in the hotel provided excellent food and cozy ambiance. Due to the ongoing local hunting season the menu was all about game and venison which I enjoyed very much.
