Gasthaus-Pension zur Linde

The zur Linde is a comfortable, welcoming place. The room we had was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The breakfast served here is nice and dinner was wonderful. We intend to stay here again when we return to the Black Forest.

Newly built holiday apartments, spacious and with excellent facilities. Bathroom (bath, shower, WC and WHB), kitchen (2 ring hob, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, fridge with freezer compartment), double bedroom, lounge/dining room (table, chairs, double sofabed, TV). If you don't want to cook, the zur Linde restaurant next door offers a choice of mainly meat dishes but there are a couple of veggie and fish dishes too, and the food is of good quality. We really enjoyed our stay at this friendly family-owned establishment and we can highly recommend it.

This place made for a very authentic Black Forest experience, surrounded by green and flowers, birds singing, with a stream running right outside our patio. We felt immersed in the culture. The hosts spoke a little English and were eager to please.

We did not plan or book in advance and stumbled upon this cute gasthaus. The welcome we received was enough to convince us that this would be the right place. The fact that they are pet friendly is also an important aspect of our stay since we are four adults + a golden retriever. The place is very clean and well kept. The rooms are spacious, some with shower, others with a bathtub. The tv channels are limited to german ones only but that is the charm of traveling. There is wireless internet that works fine. Breakfast is with no limits, all your can eat cereal, ham, cheese, eggs, cake and jam. It is constantly attended by the friendly staff. The bread is fresh and warm. This place is close to Baden-Baden and to several hiking routes in the area. Frozen lake Hummel See is quite worth the climb. The waterfall / stream running next to the establishment can seem noisy at first but you quickly get used to it.

Bedroom has all necessary, temperature is good even weather was -13 grads C, there are bakery and shops close to the haus and kitchen very well equipped to allow you prepare your food and stock it on secure way. There is a library that you can during your use stay .Always friendly attention received no matter from which country you are.

Exactly what I imagined a small town German guesthouse would be like! Traditional feel, great staff, great free breakfast! still getting used to the square German pillows but they're everywhere

Not far from French border and in the midst of the vineyards in this part of German Black Forest. Great bed good food and local items for breakfast...yum. Bed was comfortable and we slept quite well. There is a charming brook outside below the balcony. Parking was no problem.

We found the place with no problem. The room was very roomy and pWeasant444. The breakfast was varied and yummy. We also ate dinner there which was excellent.A good sign was that there were locals also dining there. The beds were comfortable and we had no problem with parking. It was pleasant for sleeping.
