Hotel Octave

Great Service . From Pickup to drop to airport, well managed.

Booked to stay here for one night before embarking on a luxury liveaboard dive trip the next day. The included return transfers were very convenient as was the central location. All the staff were excellent. The driver was knowledgeable like a tour guide and oriented us to the city. All the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and only too happy to help. The room was clean and comfortable and perfectly adequate for our needs. Complimentary water is included. The included breakfast was convenient but not particularly special. It is an easy walk to everywhere on the island and we were able to walk around the whole Island in our time there. Overall it was a very good experience staying at Hotel Octave, we would easily stay here again.

This is an inexpensive small hotel in the middle of Male. it is clean with good staff. The only thing I did not like was the bathroom and shower in the same small space.

It was a good transit stay for one night, two rooms. Driver was good to explain on the Male culture and information when driving us from hotel back to airport to get transfer to island resort. Good breakfast as well.

It is simple almost primitive, but does a perfect job for basic budget overnight stay. I would use it again without any hesitations.

We arrived early morning after transferring from Dubai. We were meeted and greeted and put onto a ferry over to Male. When we arrived we were freeted by a car and transferred to the hotel. We arrived freshened up and went to to the two smaller island The next day we went to Paradise Island as a day trip

If your are looking for a place to stay before transferring to a resort, this is a great spot. Really good and friendly service. They'll pick you up at the airport and deliver you to where you need to go the next day. Breakfast was a bit basic though

Very average styled like a Motel, a little away from the main road. Ordered room service, and got spoilt fish. Pointed this out to the room service person, who said that is how they served it. Avoidable Hotel, do not order room service even if you are staying in.

Very good service. Good wifi. Very good with the service of transfer from airport to hotell. Perfect start of the stay.

We stayed here as a stopover with a group of divers arriving in to Male before heading off the next day on a dive liveaboard. The hotel was clean and served it's purpose. The breakfast seemed a bit strange with eggs and hotdogs, but we later realized that is a typical spread in the Maldives. Our room was a bit of a squeeze as they seemed to have added an additional single bed in the livingroom area (which other rooms didn't have) but as we were hardly there, it didn't matter much. The free airport transfers are great! But all that said, I do think it was rather overpriced at $125USD per night.
