Central location. Easy stroll to the esplanade/bay. Clean and accommodating. Friendly hosts (Shona and Billy) who were up for a chat. Would definitely recommend.

"Lovely home away from home"

We stayed overnight as we drove along the coast in summer. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable with everything we needed. Our hosts were marvellous. They ensured we had everything we needed and gave recommendations for the local area. We enjoyed having a chat with them in the evening and would happily recommend their beautiful place as a great place to stay.

Very friendly Hosts. 🤩A lovely smiling faces to greet you when you arrive . Also in the morning for a lovely breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A very convenient area within walking distance of the town ❤️🫠🫠.

"Exceptional"

Billy and Shona were great hosts. The room was clean and comfortable. The bar was well stocked and inviting. Breakfast was outstanding. When we visit Torquay again, we will have no hesitation in returning.

"Little gem in tourquay "

Wonderful holiday, 5 day stay, owners both very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for both of them, breakfast lovely, rooms clean. Close to town centre and ocean front and theatre.

Fairly central just a short walk to the seafront. Very clean nothing was too much trouble for the owners. Very welcoming and this made your stay extra special. Breakfast was very good and a good selection.

"A gem of a stay!"

Everything! From the moment we arrived until the time we departed, our hosts, Shona and Billie could not have been more attentive to our needs. The breakfasts were exceptional for the quality and choice. My gluten free requirements were catered for completely- including biscuits in our room. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Tea, coffee and biscuits were regularly replenished. We would unreservedly recommend Abingdon House!

There was always a parking space and facility for extra parking.. beautifully decorated and spotless clean.

Our room looked over the main road , with the window open a little noisy at times during the night.. not a major problem
