Island Magic Beach Resort

Our niece and husband to be, had her wedding at Island Magic Beach Resort in October, 2025. We arrived, along with many friends and family a few days before the wedding. Island Magic was gracious enough to switch our room to the ground floor, due to physical limitations. The staff at the hotel and restaurant were exceptionally warm, friendly and welcoming. The property was beautiful and very well kept. The wedding (on property) couldn't have been more perfectly hosted and the food was delicious. They took special care that the evening was perfect for the newlyweds, family and guests. We highly recommend the Island Magic Beach Resort

We were so pleased with our recent stay. The room was spacious, very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff in the office and restaurant were very friendly and helpful. Their food is exceptional. Highly recommend!

It was in a good location on the waterfront and away from the hustle and bustle of Caye Caulker. For the beach vibe we traveled to the sister property on the north island, very nice poolside afternoon. At the main hotel the pool is great with a swim up bar and nice restaurant (good food every meal). The oceanfront pier is nice with the swings and lounge chairs. We had a good visit.

Our room had a leak due to some heavy rain. The hotel staff upgraded us to an ocean front room with a great view, so great to have excellent service. Second room was amazing.

This resortnis at a great location on the fringe of the hustle and bustle of town. This allows you walk into the town with an easy stroll. The ocean side of the building allows for specatular views of the reef. I love predicting the weather of the day by seeing how big the waves are as they break, the wind direction and tropical clouds that float by. The room was clean and balcony was a favorite place to swing on the hammock. The shower was spacey with good water pressure. I used the fridge a lot to store snacks and drinks. I found the pitcher of fresh water useful for the coffee and appreciated the hygiene products. There was a variety of different types of pillows and the linens were comfortable. They provided you with towels for the pool and lounging too. The air conditioning worked great. As far as security, the door had a double lock and the safe was spacious. The dock was lit up at night so you could do night fishing or just take a moonlit stroll. My family loved to check out the aquatic animals that would swim in. Juvenile nurse sharks often swam near by the underwater poles on the left side of the dock and we often saw rays on the right. Sergeant major fish could always be found by the stairs leading into the water where you can swim. In between the restaurant and the dock was the outdoor restaurant where you could sit and swing. Often, Saltys, next door had live music that you can enjoy. The staff is delightful and always willing to go above and beyond. I let them know what time my water taxi was coming in and I was picked up with ease. They also transported me via golf cart back to the water taxi. The grounds were clean and the pool was refreshing. I picked this resort because of the previous reviews. I did some resort shopping while visiting and I was so happy with this choice. I was a little sad they didn't offer complimentary bikes but after seeing that everything was within walking distance, it wasn't a problem at all. In fact, after a rain storm the bike had more of a challenge dodging the milky puddles and walking was faster. The only two things I could recommend is that one of the windows had a screen to keep bugs out while the window is opened and that the dock stairs leading into the water were cleaned of barnacles because it caused a deep wound that I had to protect during my whole trip. Overall, anything you need will be taken care of and you will find yourself having a pleasant rest during your stay. I should also add that I went to the sister resort after taking the water taxi to the North and the villas were spectacular!

I can’t say enough about Island Magic Beach Resort on Caye Caulker, Belize. My daughter was married there in October 2025. Island Magic staff orchestrated the entire event from the flowers, decorations, and photographer to the officiant, music DJ, and delicious dinner and wedding cake. All we had to do was show up and enjoy the evening! The wedding went off without a hitch and was a beautiful, moving event from start to finish. Our daughter was much more relaxed on her big day knowing that the details were being handled by Island Magic’s wonderful staff. And that’s just the wedding! Our entire several day stay at Island Magic, as well as that of our family and friends, was lovely. The resort is idyllic with its picturesque oceanside setting. The pool and swim up bar were well utilized. The restaurant was gourmet. The rooms were spotless and well appointed. And the entire staff was, in a word, the best! Lorena, our point person, worked with my daughter and all our guests to make sure every need was anticipated and provided for. And the rest of the hotel and restaurant staff did the same. We all came away loving the Belizean people! By the way, we are a tough crowd, and things need to be superior for me to write a lengthy positive review!

Stayed here for a family wedding. Just when I was stressed about how to make it to the island the hotel connected with me to coordinate everything. They were so helpful! The hotel Pina colada was incredible after a long travel day!
