Nice stay in Alona Beach. Fast WiFi and hot shower. Close to the Main Street. Friendly staff and nice relaxing area.

Maybe a little expensive if you don’t take advantage of the pool!

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The room was very, very comfortable. I took a walk to the nearby beach; pretty close.

This hotel offers good rooms, excellent service (shuttle/rentals), and adequate water pressure, all conveniently close to Alona Beach.

The stay was marred by annoying overnight power outages and a rough, unpaved road leading to the hotel.

Läget var perfekt. Några minuters promenad så var man nere på den vältrafikerade gatan med restauranger och affärer, men ljudet från sen försvann när man gick runt hörnet till hotellgatan. Fri tillgång till färskt vatten; dels en kanna på rummet och receptionen fyllde på våra egna vattenflaskor när vi ville.

Vi fick uttryckligen be om att få handdukar och badrumsmatta bytta. De är inte rena efter två dagar längre.

We spent 12 days at Palms Cove Resort, and it turned into a stay where everything simply worked in a calm, straightforward rhythm. The resort itself is quiet and well kept, the rooms are spacious, and the pool area is a pleasant spot to slow down during the day. But it’s the people around the place that make the real difference. The staff take pride in what they do in a relaxed, natural way. They are friendly without being over the top, and you quickly sense that they genuinely care about the guests. It’s the small things that stand out – quick assistance, a smile, thoughtful attention – and they manage that consistently. Grant and Sara, who own the resort, are the ones who set the warm and grounded tone that defines Palms Cove. They are present, interested in their guests, and create an atmosphere where you feel welcome without ever feeling pressured. Their way of running the place gives Palms Cove a personality that is hard to find elsewhere. It’s simple, genuine and done with heart. Diving is not the main theme of the stay, but it’s worth mentioning. Both Grant and Sara are highly experienced divers and run a dive club down by the beach. For anyone interested in exploring the underwater world, they are excellent sparring partners – knowledgeable, calm and able to offer experiences that stand out from the usual tours. But again, it’s an addition to the stay, not the defining element. All in all, Palms Cove Resort is a place we are happy to recommend. If you’re looking for a small, peaceful resort with good service and owners who truly set a positive tone, this is a very solid choice.
