Four Points by Sheraton Edmonton Gateway

Please replace the mats in the fitness centre. They are disintegrating and shed little bits of foam everywhere. Also the hot tub has been broken for months. Positives: microwave and fridge in room. Spacious rooms. Lots of restaurant options nearby.

I stayed here with a friend. My booking said the hotel had breakfast included. But when I reached the front desk, the attendant at the time “Sonika” said there is no breakfast, and we need to pay for it. When I said it says included, she said she can provide a coupon for one person and not two. She also asked to show her if my booking says it is for 2 people, only then she can provide me 2 coupons. As if she can’t access my bill and get to know herself how many people were included in the booking. She just didn’t wanna give the coupon. Well, I didn’t even take the coupon coz that’s not what I needed. I can easily spend 30$ for breakfast myself. What we didn’t like is the attendant hassling us to show the proof of booking for 2 people is the problem, coz we all know she can just look it up in my booking!! When we said we don’t want the coupon and coz of her behaviour we might not book this hotel again, she very happily said “IT’S YOUR WISH NOT TO BOOK THIS HOTEL AGAIN”!!

The soundfrrof of the room is really poor, staff is very hard and unpleasant to deal with

Everything was wonderful; food, staff, pool etc. The room was lovely with the exception of the heater/fan under the window. I had to call maintenance for assistance and learned if I wanted heat I had to put off with a very loud fan
